Face to Face II: Massage and Makan

Image
The morning of our Staycation was not wasted. Being a bottom, I was itching for KH's cock to be inside me. Yesterday's topping session... well... was nice.... but I still prefer to be the catcher. We got down to business and I got my sexual satisfaction, not too worried that our housemate would hear. Then we had a simple breakfast of buns and coffee from Family Mart before proceeding to check out ( no need to lock the door, just dump the key into an unlocked postbox... wow ). Our next destination was Healthland Signature at Taman Desa for a happy ending hour massage. Our Thai boy massage therapists were decent, but not great. Never knew that the signature branch had its own cafe. Finished past lunch hour, and boy were we famished. Even the roadside nasi kukus ayam goreng berempah had sold its last packet, and so we had to hunt for food elsewhere. Found Ohsawa Cafe at a nearby row of shops. The interior was decorated with Studio Ghibli characters, with Kaonashi featur

Face to Face I: Infinity Pool

Image
It had been a very long time since KH and I had a getaway, so he jio -ed me for a staycation at The Faces Suites, Kuala Lumpur. On Monday, I left work during lunch time to meet KH at Senya Dining , Intermark. Had a gyudon with onsen egg. The egg was served separately, and that gave me a 'great' idea. I wanted to film KH pouring the wobbly egg onto the top of beef-topped rice bowl. I got what I wanted, but the egg actually rolled off the bowl! Like watching Cooper's Hill Cheese Run. Before leaving, we had a coffee at Starbucks. The Face Suites is located just opposite Renaissance Hotel. The bad thing about is that you have to pay for parking. The good thing is that it has an unobstructed view of KLCC and KL Tower from its infinity pool. But there's a catch, you have to brave the the loads of PRC and Middle Eastern tourists who jump into the pool. Plenty of girls in bikinis, but no cute guys in tiny Speedos! The place is not just a luxury condominium, half of it

Reunion Raya 2018

Image
In case you missed it, I grew up in Kuantan. My early education was at a government school with very small percentage of Chinese students. I think there were only about twenty non-Malays in my age group. As a result, most of my friends were Malays. Just this year, I reconnected with most of my classmates. They added me into a What's App group and I was the only Chinese there. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel out of place at all. I grew up with them. Quite enjoyable to 'blow water' with them in a different context. The Malay context. Anyway, we had been talking about a reunion for ages, and it didn't materialize. Since it was Aidilfitri , the head girl took the lead and organized an open house! I went there straight after church and brought along several boxes of ais krim potong . Surely a hit with the kids. Not many of us came, but it was nice meeting the few key people that I remembered. Our host, the head girl had married wealthy husband. She lived in a

Podgy, Peranakan, and Petaling Jaya

Image
Made a date with Apollo and QueerRanter-D at Podgy Kurau . Never been to that part of Bangsar. So hidden, with so little parking. The new Podgy is smaller than when it was at Desa Sri Hartamas. Saw a savoury waffle on the menu, so gave that a try. Waffles and a chicken cutlet. Liked it. Our 'blow water' session went on till dinner time. When we walked out to look for dinner, our noses were seduced by the aroma of laksa spices. Further investigation brought us to Baba Low's a few doors down. Heard about this peranakan place, but never tried. Mee Siam and Bendeh Sambal was good, and so was the Nyonya Laksa, which lured us there in the first place. Thick and spicy soup. Ayam Goreng Kunyit was also yummy, can't really go wrong with fried chicken. Pai Tee was just average and the worst item was the popiah kulit telor , that came in a wrapping so thick I thought it was a crepe or a large kuih ketayap ! Mee Goreng Sejuk was another miss because it was too salty.

Ultimate Unagi

Image
It was SK's last month at work, so she was keen maximizing her client entertainment claims. On Friday afternoon, she brought me to lunch at Makoto , Desa Sri Hartamas. Proudly emblazoned on the menu is the following statement, "The FIRST and ONLY Unagi Restaurant in Malaysia with live Japonica eel". Well, you can imagine the price range in this place. When we walked into the dark interior of the restaurant, we did not see any other customers ( halfway through our meal, a lone Japanese did walk in for lunch ). Ordering is so much easier when you're spending someone else's money. We went for the Hitsumabushi , a traditional way of enjoying unagi . Basically its grilled unagi on a bowl of rice which comes with three serving recommendations: eel + rice; eel + rice + seaweed + spring onion + sansho pepper + wasabi; eel + rice + seaweed + spring onion + sansho pepper + wasabi + broth; We didn't stop there. SK also ordered seaweed salad, a trio of sashimi , deep-f

Jarang Jumpa JJ

Image
In the last week of June, finally managed to meet up JJ and Ban for JJ's belated to the power of ten birthday lunch. Met at Skyhaus which was selected partly due to the fact that it was in their neighbourhood. Finally tried their nasi lemak , but it wasn't that great. Then it was coffee and gelato. Great to have a face-to-face update from them after so long. During tea time at home, I had a p'ng kueh from the morning market. Later that night, mum had a Tabung Harapan dinner in OUG. I dropped her off at Restoran LFF , then went off to March Azalea Kitchen for dinner. The Portugese pork chop rice looked pretty good, so I gave that a try. The meal came with three small portions of carbs, namely steamed rice, mash, and corn on the cob. The thick curry sauce was the star of the dish. Recommended. Since I had to kill several hours there waiting for mum, I had them brew me a pot of hot fruit tea. By the end of the night, I had some work done on my laptop, but as you c

Is Your Tummy Full?

Image
Through SimonLover, I got to know TummyFull, a foodie and leather aficionado. The latter arranged an early dinner meet-up at Midsummer Night Cafe , OUG. The second floor cafe is famous for their pork lard rice which is served with variety of toppings. I chose the edamame . Its actually like a poke bowl, just that the main binder is the pork lard and onsen egg. On top of the rice bowls, we shared a dish called "Smashed Cucumber", which literally is a smashed kyuri salad topped with furikake and soy sauce. I found out pretty quickly that TummyFull had a tummy that could never be full. Right after the main, he proceeded to dessert, polishing off a slice of rum and raisin chocolate cake that was topped with ice cream. His voracious appetite continued on at March Azalea , where he ordered another main-- Sambal petai prawn pasta. Slowly but surely, he finished up the noodles, while at the same time also tucking into some of the cakes we ordered. The black forest was av

Peanut Porn

Image
I always order the lotus root soup from Restoran Kong Sai because it looks more like peanut soup! Love the soft texture of the boiled peanuts. Seems to be more peanuts than soup. Bwahaha. Do you like it like this?

Getting High

Image
For our trip to Genting Highlands, Gratitude did the driving. Arrived at Gohtong Jaya just in time for lunch. Never dined there before I think. A long row of Chinese restaurants and fruit stalls to meet the many demands of travelers. Not surprisingly, there's a perpetual traffic snarl around it during meal times. Reason: narrow roads, lack of parking, inconsiderate parking, and tour buses. As the Genting veterans, Gratitude and SK chose to eat at Kedai Makanan Loong Kee . Not only did one have to fight for a parking space, getting a table is challenge of its own. But the waiters do help to smooth things over. Our meal simple-- steamed Tilapia in hot bean paste, stir-fried vegetables, steamed egg, and pork belly pot with salted fish ( very crispy slices of meat ). If you ever eat there, do take a look at their Lost and Found cabinet that contains all sorts of items left behind by customers. Once we had finished our meal, we had to fight to pay our bill! Their POS system had cr

Raya Malaysia Baru

Image
If memory serves, I went to Tun M's Hari Raya open house at Sri Perdana in the final year of his premiership. For some reason, the Hari Raya open house shifted to PWTC starting Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Najib followed suit. A very basic affair, with no 'wet' food. Usually lemang with serunding , and biscuits and cakes for dessert. Probably to avoid oily stains on the carpet. But then, memang potong stim . So for years and years, I didn't attend the federal government's open houses. Partly cause it's BN and partly cause of the sucky food. With the birth of Malaysia Baru, Tun M's first open house was held at Sri Perdana! Full circle. Who would want to miss such a historic moment? Hehe. Mum, SK, SK's ex-colleague ( who is having a mid-life sexuality crisis ), and I arrived there before 10 AM. Thank goodness we managed to park not too far from the main entrance. Being the prime minister's official residence, the place was under the jurisdiction o
