PhuketPals IV: XVII

Image
The last day of our Phuket Trip also marked the 17th anniversary of KH and I getting together. A remarkable milestone to be able to put up with each other for so long. Hehe. With KH, I find that things are never too difficult to resolve. His patience smothers all of my tantrums, and his actions reflect his genuine feelings.  First things first, mark the occasion with morning sex before breakfast. Then go refuel at the buffet. In between packing up, we still found the time for a short skanky photoshoot at the canal outside our room. All the sisters together in our matching gear. Ate an early lunch nearby and Grab-ed to the airport.  At the airport, we reflected on our short trip, and found that there were many things on our itinerary that we didn't do. Perhaps we need to arrange a revisit. While heading to the boarding gate, ForIHaveSinned realized that his passport was not on his body. A short panic ensued, but was quickly reunited with his travel documents because a good sama...

PhuketPals III: Phuranakan

Image
Breakfast at Charms Resort is decent but not great. After eating, we went upstairs to the pool to menyundal . Trust SimonLover to be the perfect artistic director for erotic photoshoots. The locker room had a nice urinal area with a floor-to-ceiling window. We were so into it that we nearly didn't notice the cleaner. Enough with the indoor photography, we switched over to the pool. All sorts of colourful swimwear made an appearance, and we were all showing off our back-arching skills. Did we do any swimming? Of course not. The main event of the day was to visit the Old Town. Surprisingly, Phuket has a heritage of Peranakan culture thanks to the tin mining boom. The Grab dropped us at One Chun Cafe & Restaurant , listed on Michelin Select. We were very lucky to get a table because the lunch crowd was crazy. The food was amazing, and value for money. Nothing like the tourist traps at Patong. The deep-fried prawns with sweet tamarind sauce, and stir-fried crab meat with curry powd...

PhuketPals II: Watch That Trunk

Image
Compared to SimonLover and ForIHaveSinned, our day started a bit later. When we came out for breakfast, they were already in their transport, ready to head out to the port. For the trip to the animal sanctuary, we had to bring a change of clothes and a towel as we were supposed to get wet. We crowded onto the back of a transport truck together with an Asian DILF. As you can see, his sweaty pits were right in front me.  Kalim Elephant Care was just 40 minutes away, and this was inclusive of a couple of stops at other hotels along the way. The guide gave us a short briefing about Thai elephants and handed each of us bag containing strips of sugarcane. No points for guessing that the elephants love that shit. We got really up close and personal with a family of elephants. Their skin was tough and leathery, with coarse hairs. And their trunks wove around us with amazing agility always sniffing for sugarcane. We walked together with the elephants from one point to the next, taking load...

PhuketPals I: Hiao Trip

Image
Sea, surf, and sand holidays are not my cup of tea, so it's no surprise that I had never visited the island of Phuket. The hiao trip had been planned in the last quarter of 2023 with KH, Simon Lover, and ForIHaveSinned. It required me to take only 1 day of leave across the Thaipusam weekend. In my current job, annual leave is very precious as I only have twelve days a year. Please donate me some if you're feeling generous. Packing was done pretty last minute, and you won't believe the amount of skimpy items that I brought. Well, you know, to counter the hot Island weather.  On the day of departure, I left my home at 6AM via GrabCar and met up with the boys at KLIA. Purposely avoided AirAsia due to their recent reputation for flight delays and cancellations. Put our money in Malaysia Airlines. The Aerotrain was still out of service so we took the bus to the terminal. The little time to burn we had to burn before boarding time we spent at the newly-renovated Plaza Premium Lo...

In Tater's Town IV: Thanks Tater

Image
Dean & DeLuca is a favourite of Savante and Legolas. Always wondered what was so great about it. As luck would have it, Tater brought us to breakfast there on Tuesday morning. The flagship store at MahaNakhon Cube had pretty good business on a work day morning. Most of the customers were ladies of leisure and some in work clothes with no apparent hurry to get into the office. The interior was true to its upscale label with a grocery store that reminded me of Harrod's. My choice of breakfast was a brioche with sausage and duck egg. Quite good but my only complaint was the super salty sauce. Ahi Tuna dusted with espresso was KH's unconventional choice and Tater went for something very American, a stack of waffles. We lingered at D&D till the lunch crowd streamed in. The couple who sat at the table next to us had a ravenous appetite. Between the two of them, they ordered three mains and a large slice of pizza. Yikes. The duty manager caught Tater's eye with his brig...

In Tater's Town III: Shop Till Massage

Image
On Monday morning, both Tater and KH donned their skanky pants ( running tights ) and headed to Lumphini Park for a jog. Being the lazy pig I am, I stayed in bed. When they got home, KH and I went out for a local breakfast while Tater stayed home to have hamster food and milk. After so many years in the SEA region, I would have thought that his stomach adjusted to rice and noodles in the morning. Hehe. Just down the street was a small food court with quite a good selection. I ordered a bowl of wantan  noodles and KH went for the soup noodles with duck meat. Hot and hearty. Got a couple lattes at Alex Coffee  before heading back up. Arranged to have lunch with SK at Siam Paragon. Believe it or not, we went back to Hokkai-Don  just for the chutoro sashimi !!! Ordered four portions and moved on to MAiSEN  for some katsu . Definitely go for the premium meat. The shrimp  katsu  sandwich is quite good too. One small thing though, their cabbage salad ...
