Christmas in Cheras

Image
I did not wake up bright and early on Christmas morning. Just as I hit the send button on What's App asking my sister whether the kids had woken up, I heard a commotion downstairs. No mistaking it-- it was The Tribe. My sister had moved all the presents to my place. And it was a lot of presents. Combined with presents from SK and I, it was truly a formidable heap! The excitement and anticipation from the kids was palpable. However, they had to wait a little while longer. All of us donned our customized Christmas T-shirts and took a group photo first. Before we began, I brought out a laundry basket to contain all the discarded gift wrapping. The kids went through their presents like locusts. They got toys, shoes, clothes, bags, and water tumblers. Guess they were on Santa's Good list else they would have received white envelopes filled with cash from Sump'n Claus. Got some pretty nice stuff for Christmas this year: 1. Black Herschel laptop bag from The Tribe. 2. Leg...

The Chief Hits the Big 4

Image
Every year, Janvier throws a surprise birthday party for his hubby, The Chief. The only surprise would be if he did not throw a party, haha. Anyway, to celebrate The Chief's big 4-0, he organized ( orginized as Bunny's stepfather prefers it ) a private function at Marmalade , Publika. SK, Brian and I went there a little earlier to jalan-jalan while KH came later cause he was tired from the Spartan Run ( but he was not tired from oogling all the shirtless hunks who participated ). The blue-themed party was huge with three main groups-- BFF, choir and TTDI-ans. As usual, all three groups hardly mingled and gravitated towards each other. The BFF were the earliest, so we conquered the tables nearest to the food. I always liked Janvier's parties because it usually brings out the faces that I don't see on a regular basis like DanielH, Khatijah and Savante. We were lucky enough to catch the preppy doctor and his grumpy hubby, Legolas in KL because they had just flew in ...

Audit Acting

Image
On Friday, my whole team was stationed at Bandar Utama for an audit. A requirement for my company to keep its special tax status. Since the registered address is at group HQ, we had to pretend that we work there. I had to follow up with the admin people to make sure that they prepared a 'clearly-designated working area' for us. Admin: I think we cannot get cubicles for you because a whole bunch of people would need to move their desktops and reconfigure their network. Can you use one of the small meeting rooms instead? Moi: Since you put it like that, no choice lo. I check with my COO. Admin: Don't say no choice. Not we cannot do. Just asking. ( fuiyoh, cover ka cheng mode! ) *** Admin: I've prepared an island with 8 seats. Another two at the side. Moi: Thanks. Can I check with you whether the cubicle has a clip where I can affix a sign? Admin: I think you better come over to Bandar Utama now to make sure everything is in order. ( wahseh, already 5:00 PM...

Birthday Monday

Image
KH's birthday was on Monday and it's really a rare occasion that I celebrate it with him on the actual day. Went over to Mediteca to have lunch with him. And SK was nice enough to join since it was her day off. Sad to say that the lunch set looks a bit sad now. Smaller portions on large plates. Just... looks... a... bit... pathetic. Gave KH a mini birthday present as he still in the midst of ordering his main gift off Lazada. He wanted a tablet to read comics. Last Friday, we went to Plaza Low Yatt to do a little tablet survey. Decided upon the Asus MemoPad8. Cheaper to buy it online though. Stopped at KopiClub after that, in the Low Yatt basement food court. Tried something really weird-- Kopi Soyacino Ping. LOL. Kopi Ping with soya bean and cincau. LOL. Weird. Back to Monday! The mini gift was a Lamy Swift Anthracite rollerball pen. More for his new job actually, something I hope he would use at work and remind him of me ( but not as a pencil dick! ). Also gave him a card...

I Am A Princess

Image
I am a Princess , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Got the shock of my life when I received a heart shaped postcard in the mail. I actually saw it on the table but ignored it cause I thought it was some kind of flyer. Upon closer inspection only did it dawn on me! It was a postcard from The Bunny and The Bear! Complete with his trademark drawings! TQ! Forgot that he did ask me whether I wanted a postcard from Euro Disney. LOL. Never in my wildest dreams that I expected him to send me something from the Princess Department . Goodness. Not a fan of those four b*tches on the postcard. They should stay away from our hunky Prince Charmings! LOL. Wonder what my mother was imagining about the sender. :P.

Ole-Ole Osaka

Image
MYR2.10 , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. SK went to Osaka for a vacation with Lifebook and as usual, she came home bearing gifts! She actually bought sushi ( + ice packs ) at the airport and hand-carried it back to Kuala Lumpur. When she arrived home, she called us over for makan-makan . Yummy... even the rice tasted nicer. It would have been earlier if not for the fact that she was caught in a petrol price hike related traffic jam. So ironic that the LDP was clear, but she was stuck in Bandar Kinrara for half an hour. I too was stuck earlier, but cause I genuinely had to pump petrol! The fat bastard in front of me took his own sweet time at the pump. Waddled to the boot, slowly fished his wallet out of the tonnes of luggage he had at the back. Then continued on to the control station. That slug of a man slowly filled up his Grand Livina, like he had all the time in the world. And then he sloshed back to the control station to pay. Even when leaving, he cared not for the fact that...

Mail Order Hunk

Image
Some weeks back, I got a message from a FB friend whom I had not met before. He said that he wanted to send me a Christmas present. Very random right? After some digging, it turns out it was his first time doing it. A random act of giving. Cool right? But I wonder why me? LOL. Cause I was a bad boy? I'm not one stare a gift horse in the mouth LOL. So after patiently waiting for some time, I finally received a large envelope with a warning: "Photos Inside. Do not bend." Wah! Are they photos of me in compromising situations? Blackmail photos! LOL. Tore open the envelope to find a bubble wrap. After removing that, I found another layer of plastic protection. Inside was an envelope made out of wrapping paper. By Jove, it was skanky pictures. But not of me la. It was a 2013 DailyJocks calendar by Russel Fleming! Thanks JamesL! I like it. Who wouldn't like hunks in underwear and swimwear? My favourite is Mr. October ( bottom row, third guy from the right ). My birth ...

Mended Heart & Faraway Friends

Image
Pavilion SpyCam , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. On Sunday, mum and I went to English mass. Afterwards, we went to have breakfast at TTDI before making our way to IJN to visit my uncle. Met my sister there too. My uncle had been moved from the ICU to the normal ward. When we arrived, he was sitting up on his bed and seemed OK, just a little fatigued. The long scar snaking across his chest and leg was healing well. According to him, he felt fine, except for the fact the he couldn't sleep at night. Mum and Sis stayed on to wait for my aunt, while I left earlier to meet Nichonick and Nicky05 at The Pavilion. Second time meeting Nichonick and he had a friend with him, Ren, his ex-roommate. They were in the Peninsular for their convocation. Did some aimless walking around while waiting for the rest. Ended up sitting down at Food Republic. In the end, Ding and Nicky05 arrived. Only Ding and I had not eaten, so they watched me down a kaya butter toast set from Toastbox. Amazingly, one...

Light Me A Lantern on My Birthday

Image
Lui Cha Again , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Did my usual Saturday ritual at the wet market. But to break the monotony, we had breakfast at a new joint that week-- Restoran Siew Foong . A relatively new place that we frequently observed was closed. Seeing that it was open, we jumped on the chance. As we walked in, we could a whole bunch of staff doing preparatory work. A little girl was reading at one of the tables and upon seeing us walk in, remarked: "Sorry, we are not open for business. We are undergoing renovation." Stunned for a while, because we saw a woman actually making YTF at one of the tables. A man suddenly rushed out to shush the girl and welcomed us in. :S. Weirdness. The place served Hakka food, so we ordered their lui cha with brown rice and a bowl of homemade fishball noodles. The lui cha was quite good. Rare to see shops serve it with fried sweet beancurd skin. The soup was also fragrant enough and not the usually watery fare. I gave it a good...

Danny Roo

Image
roo , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Having participated in Danny Gaga 's guessing game, I won some souvenirs from Melbourne!!! He was so nice to courier me a box of nougat, a kangaroo refrigerator magnet and a wooden boomerang with aboriginal art on it. Thank you so much! So many things right? And yet in his note, he described it as "just a little something" and in his e-mail correspondences, he told me not have high expectations over "just very little thing" (sic). I hope this doesn't mean that I'm disqualified from future contests! P.S.: Actually I was secretly hoping for an Aussiebum underwear model. :P

Love and Pride

Image
Love and Pride , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. One night, I went over to KH's place as his parents were out gambling. Didn't skank all the way, but it was great pleasuring each other after a long hiatus. We enjoyed every bit of each other. Lapped each other up. With the orgasm still fresh in my mind, KH produced a pair of rings ( not cock rings! ) and still in a state of undress he knelt in front of me and slipped it over my finger. It was a pair of matching platinum-gold bands from "Love & Pride", a gay and lesbian jewelry specialty store ( trust him to go all the way ). Our third commitment to each other in our five years together ( meaning this is our third set of rings and I still wear all of them regularly ). Although I had been calling him my hubby long before this, this was a sweet gesture that I would not forgo. Baby, thanks for all the good times and thanks for sticking with me through the bad. I love you baby. Happy 5th Anniversary and Happy Vale...

KH & The Dragon

Image
Cold Taro , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. KH flew MAS back to KL on Thursday night but I only met him on Friday evening after getting off from work slightly earlier. None of my colleagues had any mood to work on that day. LOL. And my GM only let us go at 5:00pm. Meh. But anyway, it was great having KH in my arms again. We sat down at Hailam Kopitiam in Taman Desa. The interior tables were off-limits due to a private function, so we sat outside instead. A gay Myanmarese waiter fretted over us the whole time. :S. True to his style, KH came bearing many, many gifts! Firstly, he helped SK transport her 5kg statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was very beautiful, a pure white marble statue. And for me, he bought lots of underwear! Lets just say that my quota for 2012 has been filled. He really knows the way to gay man's heart! I'm gonna be a bitch a jemur nyawa here by posting an inventory: JOBY GorillaPod Hybrid - an extremely useful tool for camwhoring. I immediately ...

Finding Fuzhou

Image
Failed Fuzhou With Sunday Mass and Stations of the Cross done, SK, mum and I headed out to cari makan tengah hari . SK suggested Old Fuzhou , Damansara Kim. Obviously famous looking at the Sunday weekend crowd. Waited for a while before we were seated inside by the tai-tai -looking lady boss. Ordered two of their famous dishes-- red wine chicken and Fuzhou fish balls. Both failed me. I found the soup too watered-down for my liking. But one must admit that they use a better stock of chicken rather than the usual supermarket variety. The fishballs costed us MYR1.59 per piece and it was just of normal size. The texture was a disaster. Soft. 'Crumbles' in your mouth. :S. Perhaps that's the genuine Fuzhou style, but I'm not going back there again. Then we walked down the row of shops to "Above Treasures". A very interesting Christian gift shop. According to the woman manning it, the shop is affiliated with "Sweet Incense", a Christian group formed jus...

Free!

Image
ck free-耿乐 Swiped from 普渡众神 花 . Just received a spill-over from Christmas 2010-- A 100ml bottle of cK Free from SK!!! Hehe. And it came with an embroidered Christmas card. Thanks a bunch! *muacks! Here's a bit of trivia for you: 1) I use Lacoste Pour Homme purely for work 2) I use Bvlgari Aqva only on weekends and holidays 3) I use Esprit Connect randomly Don't have to sniff me to confirm this. I adhere to it semi-religiously. :P. Perhaps I should have a special scent for when I go on dates with KH. :P (1) and (2) should be finishing soon, so I can start cK Free soon lo. What do you use to smell good?

1111

Image
I can't believe that it's 2011. So many things that I procrastinated on at the end 2010, telling myself that I'd do it after all the holidays were over. The new year is now here and I still don't feel like doing my work!!! Argh. Focus! Focus! Focus! Anyway, hope everyone had a good time ushering in the new year. Here are some leftovers from 2010 that I really should blog about-- gifts from friends and loved ones! Seeing that I had collected the keys to my apartment, SK got me a very practical and classy gift-- Clipsal switches and sockets. She even calculated the exact number of points that I would be needing! Thanks a whole lot! A little piece of New York that Kidz brought back for me. Laser-customized with my name! Thanks a whole lot! It's hanging on my laptop bag now. ^_^ And this crystal pendant was given by KH. Supposed to protect the wearer from physical harm. He did not know my Chinese name, so he engraved it in English instead. Muacks! May everyone ...
