Meet Joe Young

It was a sweltering Sunday to end the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday long weekend. Mum was kinda reeling from the meaty home buffet she had the night before, so she actually wanted Japanese food. Unfortunately, Xenri at Old Klang Road only served buffet during lunch time, so we made a move to Le Pont Boulangerie . Usually, business would be bustling, but it was pretty quiet at their dine-in area. Noticed that they changed their menu again, with some interesting additions to their dessert section. Mum got the pasta vongole ( the clams were kinda overdone IMHO ), while I ordered the prawn bisque as I was still on day 89 of my Nu Skin TR90 program. Kinda sad to note that drinking water is no longer free at Le Pont. You're encouraged to buy a bottle of Evian. So atas jor . At least the food prices were still reasonable and they now have a loyalty points system via My Nuggetz . Mum had a wedding dinner later that evening, so she spent a major portion of the afternoon getting read

Note: A topic triggered by Nicky. I don't remember when I started having di s, but I think it was some time in 2008. For some reason, some people look up to me as their gor . I had a whole collection so to say. Not that I was collecting, but I somehow managed to get a following of sorts. First and foremost was Joe . He identified himself as the President of My Di Association. Then there was Kenzon who got me acquainted with Rich who was his boyfriend. There was also Chester and Jase. With Jase, there was a connection to KT my mei  and PluBoy. Did I leave anyone out? But I really wonder what that means to be someone's gor . How big of an did impact did we make in each other's lives? Did I dispense sagely advice? Was I their rock in a tumultuous sea of gay drama? Was I always there for them? Did they look to me for direction in life? Was I someone for them to manja  with? Or was it just a taken social connection just for the heck of it? Today, my  di s have all grown up

static , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Was home alone as mum went over to my sister's place to take care of my nephews while my sister was away. First thing in the morning I would make my oats and I had my first home science experiment in a long time. Static electricity seemed to have made the oat powder stand up on the plastic scoop. Reminded me very much of the days when I used to play with magnets, a piece of paper and metal filings. For a proper breakfast, I finished the last of the maple log that I had bought from Levain Boulangerie the day before. Definitely need to eat it fresh. Just one night and it lost its kick. Brunch was with Jase whom I had not met since he moved out from his brother's place. Went over to Happy Garden to pick him up and brought him to Restoran Ah Loy for curry noodles ( though I ate fishball noodles- not recommended! ). We were the first customers. Too bad the curry pork ribs weren't ready, so he had to settle for chicken. Ah Loy had cer

The Eve of Four Ones

Little Korea On Friday morning, I got up at 7:00am and drove mum to Taman Bukit Jalil for a jog. At the start, it was mostly brisk walking. Only later did I ditch mum and did some jogging. Thought I was doing OK until bent over to pull up my socks. When I got up, I felt that the blood flow to my brain wasn't quite right. Started seeing static and white stars. Goodness. Took some time before the feeling of faintness passed. Wonder if it was due to me bending over ( jangan fikir lain ) or because I did not eat before going for the jog. Guess it was a little bit of both. While walking back to the car, we saw a father-daughter team who were both having a leisurely walk while munching on big pau 's. That's how we should all exercise! Breakfast was at Jalan Lazat, OUG. Ordered seafood noodles that came in a soup so sweet that I could very well had been drinking tong sui . The only positive was the fact that the auntie gave many prawns and it was fresh. Give me some grub!

Revisiting Jase

Peephole Swiped from suavehouse113 . On Saturday, I went to the market as usual. Nothing changed except that the roads are now mostly one way. A change for the better I reckon. Breakfast was a mediocre bowl of curry noodles at Kuchai Lama. Mum went out to visit a friend after lunch, so I did the same. Drove all the way to the Solaris Dutamas area to visit Jase. According to him, it had been one year since we met. How time flies! Was really impressed at the way his brother and sis-in-law lived. When I saw her, she really reminded me of a painted doll. Basically hung out in his room, hiding in the comfort of his air-conditioned room. In the end, I managed to drag him out. Told him to bring me to the pool, but it was overrun by expat kids. Ugh. On a whim, we decided to investigate a shop named Rainbow that was in nearby Plaza Damas. We spotted it on the PluGuide website. Walked up and down Block E to find the place. When we found it, it was just an umarked door with a door card se

Monkey See, Monkey Do

The President of my Di Association recently presented me with a cute Paul Frank button badge during his last trip to KL. So gwai ! He bought it so that SK could buy her Paul Frank undies at half price. Watch out people, she's amassing a huge collection as we speak. Definitely someone to look out for in the underwear collector's race. And so, I present the latest family tree for your perusal. Already at v1.2. Several changes have taken place. Among the most notable are Lifebook becoming SK's gor ( a rich one, mind you ) and my di Kenz breaking up with Rich ( :( ). Oh yeah, and SK is no nearer to getting inseminated by Alex. You guys can set up a betting pool. But beware of Savante tilting the odds by means of alcohol... oppps.
