KH celebrated my birthday at the end of September because he would travelling in the first half of October. He had scheduled a short stop in Tokyo, before proceeding to Salt Lake City for the Nu Skin global convention. Our date was on a Friday night after work. Reservations were made at GOODDAM at The Hub SS2. It was a part of SS2 that I had never seen before. And the name of that modern Italian restaurant is... God damn, kan!? The place looked pretty classy, and it was quiet. Most of the serving and kitchen staff looked really young. Right out of culinary school. The menu was small, but interesting~ fusion cuisine incorporating local ingredients. For refreshments, we had a cube of chilled watermelon with applemint. Then they brought out yummy bread with butter and a dollop of palm sugar. The first main we had was Tajarin Yolk Pasta. YB Teresa Kok had a Mid-Autumn event at the Sri Petaling Community Center, so mum was roped in to help out. She was tasked with selling her delicious nasi lemak at one of the food stalls. Preparations began a few days before~ buying ingredients from the market, peeling shallots, frying anchovies and peanuts, etc. On the actual day, mum began cooking. Never have we cooked so much coconut milk rice or made so much sambal . Most importantly, red palm oil was used in the cooking, YB Teresa Kok's star product. The weather was horrible for setting up an outdoor food stall. It was hot and hazy.  Most of the time, we  would slip indoors to watch the lion dance competition and get some air-conditioning. Business was slow in the afternoon, but towards evening, people started buying. I made a short escape to have dinner with KH and upline at Yang Ming Chinese Restaurant . Nothing to shout about. In the beginning, I preferred Japanese porn over gweilo porn. Coat was my de facto porn source to get off. The masking and the goggles didn't put me off. Did a quick search on the GSC app and the best choice was Alamanda Putrajaya. Not exactly near, and I was worried that the mall was dead. Gave it a try anyway for lack of a better option. Mum and I walked in the hall with barely 2 minutes to spare. In my opinion, it was worth the RM16 ticket price because it was never before seen footage by Tun M's granddaughter. An inside scoop, often shot from behind Tun M's shoulder. But it wasn't the campaigning and interviews that caught my attention, it was the personal moments. Extremely heartwarming to see the private side of Tun M and Toh Puan Siti Hasmah. Their love for each other shows. The elder statesman melts in the presence of his wife. Sunday was hazy and hot. Mum and I were supposed to go to Jejak Purnama in the evening, so we gave the malls a miss. Hopped over to Origins Cafe for a simple lunch thanks to their B1F1 promo on Entertainer App. My first time there although its so close to my church. A no frills cafe that seems to have its regulars. The whole time we were there, a guy was giving chemistry tuition to a couple of teenagers at the adjacent table. It helps that they use canteen-like tables. Both the chicken chop and cajun pasta were decent in terms of taste and portion. But the flat white was weak. At around 5 PM, mum and I left home and headed for KLSCAH. Jejak Purnama is a cultural event in conjunction with the Mid-autumn Festival. According to the schedule, there would be a lantern procession from KLSCAH to the Guan Di Temple at Petaling Street. Once again, SimonLover hosted a dinner party at his place. A Mid-Autumn gathering, but without mooncakes. Ever the gracious host, he prepared most of the food! On the table was chicken rice, salad, curry pork, stuffed tofupok , and charsiew . The salad he made himself, the rest he got from Restoran Kong Sai , and TnR . I supplied a roast duck from OUG, and TummyFull brought wine. Among the guests for the night were JJ, Ban, Khatijah, ForIHaveSinned, and TummyFull. Towards the end of the night, SimonLover's housemate e10 also made an appearance. At the start, SimonLover seemed so stressed out with all the preparations. Gradually, he relaxed and we helped him the best we could. It was a great party, and everyone had fun.

Khatijah and I went to yumcha in Taman Desa for an underwear pick up. He suggested a Thai cafe there called Mamamon. I arrived earlier than him, so I went in first, looked at the menu, sipped some water, and even used the restroom. When Khatijah came, he took one look at the menu and jio-ed me to leave. Lol. Not many choices were available, so we just sat down at Pappa Rich . Khatijah, SimonLover, and I had grouped our orders to take advantage of a bulk purchase discount at the CIN2 website. Got myself a pair of green Scrimmage jockstraps, while I chose an Oxide brief for KH. Unfortunately, the jockstrap didn't fit me. The S from this range is too small for me. Could practically hear the stitching give way! OMG, I'm so fat! :P. P.S. : The jockstrap has now found a new home with JJ. Ban was definitely delighted.
