Khatijah and I went to yumcha in Taman Desa for an underwear pick up. He suggested a Thai cafe there called Mamamon. I arrived earlier than him, so I went in first, looked at the menu, sipped some water, and even used the restroom. When Khatijah came, he took one look at the menu and jio-ed me to leave. Lol. Not many choices were available, so we just sat down at Pappa Rich . Khatijah, SimonLover, and I had grouped our orders to take advantage of a bulk purchase discount at the CIN2 website. Got myself a pair of green Scrimmage jockstraps, while I chose an Oxide brief for KH. Unfortunately, the jockstrap didn't fit me. The S from this range is too small for me. Could practically hear the stitching give way! OMG, I'm so fat! :P. P.S. : The jockstrap has now found a new home with JJ. Ban was definitely delighted.

Simonlover made an appointment to meet KH and I for afternoon tea. He was in our neck of the woods attending a wedding a luncheon. KH suggested to meet at February 8 Cafe , a vegetarian joint at Happy Garden. When I entered, I was greeted by a peculiar sight. A lady was holding a dowsing rod above a cup tea, and she was counting the number of rotations it made. With her other hand, she was filming the 'phenomenon'. Any idea what she was doing? The cafe is quiet with nice character. A very wooden Muji feel. The menu at February 8 is pretty small, but interesting. I ordered the Hojicha Soy Milk and it was good. KH gave Simonlover the lowdown on his Ladakh trip. At around 5 PM, we quit the cafe and went to the night market that had suddenly sprouted at the doorstep. Don't remember the last time I went to one. Plenty of food options, but not exactly cheap. Saw a heap of courier packages on the ground being sold for RM7 each. It was a Saturday afternoon, and Simonlover jio-ed KH and I to meet up with JJ and Bunny at The Bons Cafe , just outside Atria. I parked my car in the mall and walked out. Couldn't find the place, but found an empty post office instead. Took the chance to renew my driving license. Hehe. Unfortunately, the ugly and puffy face from my new identity card has now been transferred to my new driving license. KH and I were the latest to arrive. The early birds had already started eating. I ordered the pasta lemak, basically nasi lemak with the rice replaced by spaghetti. Having said that, the spaghetti ain't cooked in coconut milk. In my opinion, it just didn't jive. Several Simons have the "QB" postfix in my phone book which means that they play for our team. Recently I added another Simon, who is a mutual friend of SimonLover and Janvier. I'll christen him SimonSays. We started off chatting in Instagram and further interaction with him revealed that he's also an underwear collector like moi . Yay! One day, he messaged about a STUD sale in Robinsons,  The Gardens Mall. He was nice enough to offer to get some for me at MYR30 a box. And so he got me two pairs, and we scheduled to meet up on a Saturday afternoon. We met up at Mokka Cafe , Jalil Link during lunch time. Truth be told, he looks better in person, more attractive. And he has a nice voice. Before you guys buzz me about his contact number, he's actually happily attached. I paired Mokka's nasi lemak with cooling cup of Oolong milk cream. Every once in a while, MySale will have some sexy underwear on sale, for example Andrew Christian. Postage ain't exactly cheap, so I usually jio SimonLover to join me. That fella is more adventurous than me when it comes to underwear. Must check out his full collection one day. Spied a pair of long rainbow socks on the website and I immediately had to get it. Even had a unicorn on it. Double the gayness! Such novelty socks are perfect for sexy photo shoot. Don't you agree?

"Is it just me or its a bit drafty in here?". Drafty Dirk was spotted at Owl's Cafe, Jalil Link. Think he's wearing some sort of seamless underwear. Not sure about the brand. Tater was in town again and we agreed to meet at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur because it was close to his hotel. Once again, he surprised me with sexy underwear-- this time a pair from Singapore's XCIT3. It was an interesting pair of cut-away bikinis called Ethan  ( for all I know was named after his cute Vietnamese friend in the States ). The pouch has a dual construction where one can move away the front to reveal an inner pouch. Definitely need to shave to rock this pair. Thanks again. Asked what he felt like having for the night and he answered Italian ( probably wanted a cute Asian twink as well ). We went for dinner at Bello , on the 6th floor, an NKOTB Italian restaurant. We shared a funghi and feta pasta, and a diavola pizza. Not too much, as Goldilocks says, "Just right". Something sweet at KAKIGŌRI ended our Tuesday evening meet-up. Boxing Day was reserved to meet Zed, an online friend whom I had never met in person before. A very kinky person who had enlightened me about niche subjects like: Leather Latex Zentai and other body suits Puppy play Sounding Masks Chastity Shibari Cock Ball Torture etc Well, he didn't manage to get me to try all the above, but I don't mind dabbling in some of them. According to him, he came straight from a staycation with his BF ( just some zentai fun he told me ). Zed looks as innocent in person as in his social media profile pics. Easy to talk with, and is open about any subject. Anything from Folsom Street Fair to hacking Grindr ( he's a talented mobile developer BTW ). Always something interesting from him. Got this tank top from Private Structure  from one of their so-called 11.11 Wonder Bundles during the Singles' Day sale. I was attracted by the large "B"! Of course the bundle also came with underwear, but I'm not posting a photo of that here. Huhu. Tumblr perhaps? What significance does "B" have for you? Been trying to arrange a meet-up with Nicky05 and EJ for ages, but it never materialized. Our underwear exchange was really long overdue. Don't get me wrong, we weren't exchanging used underwear or anything kinky. It's all very innocent. About a year ago, Nicky05 tumpang -ed some 2EROS underwear on MySale account, so that has been collecting cobwebs in my room. On top of that, EJ recently  tumpang -ed some Andrew Christian underwear on my MySale account, so it's nearly the same story. Not only that, EJ had helped me to get 3 pairs of underwear from the recent Private Structure warehouse sale, so I had to collect that from him ( I had really forgotten about it ). In the end, I only managed to arrange dinner with EJ on a Friday night. Last minute additions were both our hubbies, Buttias and KH, so it was kinda like a double date. It's not a secret that I have a fetish for underwear. During my birthday, friends often help me add to my monstrous collection. An easy gift option when you don't know what to get me. I seem to just collect and collect. When a pair is no longer serviceable, I will stuff it into my old underwear drawer. Recently, while stuffing a pair in, I noticed just how full the drawer was. LOL. No point hoarding all that old underwear. Might as well do some spring cleaning. Mostly were briefs and trunks from various brands like Private Structure, Renoma, Skinxwear, Hush Puppies, GMW, Byford, Toot, Aussiebum, etc. From years ago. Kinda like ageing cheese. :P. So I grabbed a hotel laundry bag and stuffed it all in. SimonLover suggested that I sell the stuff online, but I don't think anyone would want underwear with exhausted elastic bands. Rarely get any holes in my underwear, it's always the band. Maybe cause I often hand wash my intimates. Anyway, I tied up the bag and thew it out

I don't usually splurge on underwear. In my book, brand is not that important. It's always about design and comfort. For two years now, I have been receiving newsletters from TOOT  but I never ordered any. When it comes to Japanese underwear, it's always about the expensive price tag and shipping costs. However, TOOT has a unique perk-- they give out birthday points to their members. The points are supposed to expire in a year, but for some reason, I had accumulated two years of points in my account. I had a total of 2,000 points which was equivalent to JPY2,000. Not bad right? But when it comes to TOOT, actually JPY2,000 off isn't that much of a discount. LOL. But since I'm writing this post, it means that I actually bought something from them with those points. Chose the TSX Ultra Micro trunk which cost me a whopping JPY3,600 ( harga sebelum diskaun )!!! For many years I have maintained certain rules when it comes to choosing which underwear to wear. For day wear, I would exclusively go for briefs. I never favoured trunks or boxer briefs under my clothes because I thought that it would be too hot with the extra coverage. All my trunks and boxer briefs were worn for bed or lounging in the privacy of my home. But of late, I found myself breaking that rule cause I was too lazy to segregate them anymore. Whatever I dug out from my underwear drawer or temporary storage ( I have resorted to storing underwear in my luggage bags ) I would wear. Turns out that there's no problem with wearing trunks to work. The next rule to break would be regarding jockstraps...

I've had the "My Fave Undies Survey!" link on my blog since February 2011. So far it has garnered a yawn-inducing 124 respondents. Haha. It goes slowly, so what he heck, I'll just release the interim summary. Not all the questions are here because I added those much later, hence even less data to play with. So this is the feedback I received: Mini briefs came out tops. The most practical design for work and play I suppose. A balance between coverage and sexiness. Are you a mini briefs guy? I know I am. When it comes to the underwear band, most of the respondents prefer thick bands. More than half. Looks like Marky Mark in his undies left a lasting impression even after so many years. Personally, I dislike bands that are too thick. When you sit down, the fold, and that ruins the elastic. White seems to be favourite colour for my readers. Very basic, but very sexy at the same time. Come to think of it, I have not blogged about underwear in ages. If I had a body like James Pianka, The Underwear Expert's style reporter, perhaps I would even vlog! Anyway, this is just a quick update on the latest acquisitions in my ever-growing collection of undies. KH recently surprised me with three pairs of sporty GX3 hipsters. Hugs your booty low enough to show some crack. And the synthetic material is super silky and comfortable. The pouch is well-designed too. My first for his sexy Japanese brand. The next item I bought at a whim from Kitschen. I'm not a fan of their clothes but as I was burning time during Friday lunch hour, I spied their boxer shorts with super cute prints! Smiling whales and cartoon-y cars. I grabbed both! Perfect for lounging at home. Think its something new from them. Everyone wants to try their hand at underwear.

Underwear as sleepwear Swimwear as sleepwear Hence, Swimwear is underwear? Not a philosophical question, just that I noticed that I have a few swim trunks that haven't been getting much use at the pool. The reason for their neglect is basically due to a low family pool compatibility index and some cuttings which I don't quite like. Lack of use will only hasten their demise. Will end up with 'crunchy' spandex or spots especially for those in lighter colours. To solve the problem, I have started wearing them to bed. Luckily they are not super tight or it would not be practical at all. I'm not sure if anyone does this at all since swimwear is generally thicker and not so breathable. Come to think of it, some people wear swim shorts out to the mall so this isn't so eccentric after all? Haha.
