Beautiful & Breakfast , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. BONUS MATERIAL in this super long-winded post (second in the series of many!): Taiwan Celebrities -- Fengjia Faun and Adidas Anthony! Breakfast was not part of our package at Athena Ming Shu, so we had to walk out to find food at the nearby breakfast joints. Lewis provided us with several options and we chose to eat at Good Morning! Beautiful & Breakfast . Gotta love their English. More about that later. This joint serves up 'Western' breakfast-- sandwiches and what not. Reading materials include newspapers and tabloids with stories showcasing KTV girls singing topless. Beside the breakfast place was a gym and its interesting to note that the glass windows were all plastered with pictures of hawt topless men. That's motivation for ya. Back at the B&B, we checked out and boarded our carrier. Won't be back to Taipei until Thursday! As we made our way to Hsinchu , Lewis asked whether we wanted

Taiwan I: Cold Taipei, Warm Welcome

TPE , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. BONUS MATERIAL in this super long-winded post ( first in the series of many! ): Taipei Celebrities -- Ching Shin Chad, Busker Brothers, BB Brent & Metro Mark! A year ago, SK, KH, Lifebook and I bought AirAsia X tickets to Taipei for a week-long holiday. As usual, we bought it with no concrete plans on whether we would be able to fly or not. Unfortunately, Lifebook pulled out at the very last minute due to critical work problems. Since all the lodging and local tour had been arranged, he had to pay the sum of nearly MYR1000 anyway. But then, Lifebook had jst recently come back from a Taiwan holiday with his family in January! Haha. So I guess not so bad and SK got to have the whole room to herself. Logistics were mostly handled by SK, who liased with the local tour guide. The uncle only understood Chinese, and he seemed to like dealing with SK, whom he loved to refer to as 美女 or 辣妹. Changed the itinerary several times based on preference

CNYXV: End

Image
Coach , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. The end of CNY was basically celebrated over the weekend. On Saturday, I had my CNY BEC gathering. Donned my reddest boardshorts and went with my fiery flip-flops. And finally started using the Coach wallet that KH got me more than a year ago. :D. There were rumours that the turnout might not be good, but still a good crowd came. Surprisingly during the sharing session, many people decided to open their mouths, thus making things quite lively. As usual, we had plenty of food and fun. Was also pleasantly surprised because a Taiwanese woman commented that I look to be in my early twenties! Wakakaka! But truth be told, I look older these days. New lines are taking shape on my face. Goodness. Time for collagen! And there is a very sticky couple in my church group that SK and I love to watch. Always new and refreshing gag-worthy moments. They have three daughters and the youngest daughter is already in college. When the facilitator mentioned tha
