DashcamDudes: Cake Charles

Welcome to the inaugural post of DashcamDudes -- as you can guess, it's cute guys or hunks caught on my car's Yi dashcam. We start off the series with Cake Charles , a sweaty Indian dude in boardshorts so wet and tight that were clinging to his deep valley . Serving cake in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling! The quality of the footage ain't great, I must admit, but you'll have to use some imagination. LOL. Hopefully there's more future material for my dear readers.

Eve Exodus

On Labour Day, KH and I ventured to Sushiya at Mont Kiara. The meal was expensive and we didn't leave feeling satisfied. Went down to the nearby 163 Retail Park for coffee at Whisk . Met up with KH's friend there. Halfway through our coffee, I went to the counter to order a slice of cake. The girl at the counter handed me the carrot cake in a box, and told me that it was on the house.   "There wouldn't be anyone to eat it tomorrow anyway." Actually I was oblivious to the fact that the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal had declared that Hari Raya Puasa was the next day, a day earlier than what was stated in the calendar. From experience, Raya was celebrated on the 2nd day of the lunar calendar, so it wasn't a complete surprise to me. The staff ( who were all Malay ) were already busy closing up, and there was a similar commotion outside as well. People were rushing home for Raya preparations, or to prepare to travel back to their hometowns.  Abnormal traffic was ...

Survivor

Remember the Swordfish guppies that I bought for the water hyacinth? I bet you don't lol. Here's a report-- 4 out of 5 died from numerous reasons. The main cause of death was suicide. The frequent rains caused the water levels to rise and the fish just jumped out to their death. But that wasn't the end of the road for them. The sole survivor suddenly bunged out 8 fries. From this experience, I had stopped putting the fish outside with the water plants, which defeats the purpose of me purchasing them in the first place. Put them in a more controlled environment first before deciding on my next course of action.

Mags

When was the last time you purchased a physical magazine? Do you remember? During the early 2000s, I liked to loiter at bookstores to browse the magazines. Stuff that I bought: Personal Money Men's Health ( not so much for the workouts, but probably for some cute hunk ) National Geographic Asian Geographic New Icon ( probably for some underwear photoshoot or their hottest hunk edition ) Jalan Sultan also had several shops that sold old editions of magazines from overseas. With some patience, one could find some interesting fashion magazines from Taiwan, and I've even come across some gay-themed mags. I wonder if the industry is still alive in Malaysia.

Jamuan Hari JJ

April breezed by with Palm Sunday and the Easter Triduum. Soon enough it was Jaded Jeremy's birthday. Once again, he arranged an intimate dinner for five at Kinpachi , Subang Jaya. As recent tradition dictated, there was  hanpen  on the table, which is a fluffy fish cake. The grilled mochi wrapper with bacon was delicious too. KH SimonLover surprised JJ with a 12" dick apple strudel from Klang. His sweet tooth was satisfied! Having desserts at Huang Soy Bar is also an unwritten rule. It was painful to see the way SimonLover ate his taufufah-- complete destruction! SimonLover passed me a package from Robbie , a fellow undergear enthusiast from Melbourne. The package contained a red lace brief from Nene and a white thong from CIN2. Both were amazing additions to my collection. Thanks!

BahBoys V or Sabah Celebrities: Sabah Stan

Time to bid our farewell to beautiful Sabah. A pretty short trip, with not enough time to eat everything, haha. First breakfast was Beaufort Noodles at Restaurant Beaufort . Basically stir-fried noodles with thick gravy, minus the egg drop. Second breakfast was ngiu chap at Kedai Kopi Cheng Wah . Wasn't impressed. Drove over to KKIA to return the car. While KH was settling the grown up stuff, I got to cuci mata with  Sabah Stan . Pretty hairy legs. He was the best thing at KKIA.  All in all, it was a great trip. Easy to get around. And lots of attractions. Will return to visit the other parts.

BahBoys IV: Jalan-Jalan KK

The next morning, we did some exploring around Jalan Gaya. Grant recommended that we try an old pastry shop called Keng Wan Hing that was famous for its buns. Most of the customers were senior citizens who probably live nearby. Eat, kopi , chit-chat in Cantonese, then leave with several plastic bags filled with old school buns, probably for their grandkids. After breakfast, KH bought more 4D at Diriwan, another local brand.  We took a long link bridge from behind our hotel to the wet market. Typical PasarPride stuff. Outside, near where the boats pull up was the seafood market. Some exotic stuff like sea grapes, Moray eels, and parrot fish. Typically, tourists come here to pack frozen seafood in styrofoam boxes to hand carry back to West Malaysia. Back at the hotel, KH and I put on our swim trunks and went swimming. Truth be told, my first swim after 2 years! Really helped us work up an appetite. Fish noodles is a famous dish in KK, and Fatt Kee is one of the famous shops serving...
