Breakfast was included in the suite booking. E&O Residences doesn't have a cafe, but they outsourced it to the Delicious located outside their premises. Although separate, it's directly accessible via a secured access door. The buffet breakfast had a spread consisting of typical Malaysian delights like nasi lemak, fried bihun, and curry chicken. For non-locals, they also have the typical Western breakfast consisting of sausages, omelettes, and baked beans. Food was delicious, but the coffee weak. The cafe has a classy design, with several themes incorporated.

Subsequently checked out and headed to church. During a short stop at Paradigm Mall, we had our lunch at Canton Kitchen.

Made a dinner appointment with Gratitude that evening. Three of us traveled to Restoran Makanan Laut Kebun Kelapa all the way in Pandamaran. Being the host, Gratitude decided on the order for the night. We had the signature fried glass noodles which in my opinion was above average. Excellent wok qi, aromatic, and not oily. Kam Heong was also a favourite style there, and he chose clams for that. Truly fragrant, and not too overpowering. In addition to that, we had deep-fried calamari. It was very crispy, I'll give you that, but some of the batter wasn't cooked through. Another interesting item was the dry salt crab. The crab was very meaty and the taste well-balanced. But let you in on a little secret, I'm still a chili crab kind of guy. Give me some gravy! Lastly, there was steamed fish, Teochew style. Another signature item. Well-executed too.

Moved on to a cafe for our second round since it was only 8 PM. Gratitude led us to Coffee Ink at Bandar Botanik, an arty cafe located on the second floor. Great place to chill as its quiet, and located in the less busy part of town. SK ordered The Mud, a hot chocolate with the consistency of... Mud. The Crushed Hazelnut Mille Crepe is recommended too. It was good to catch up as it had been nearly a year since we met. Good to hear that he had just finished a project and had time on his hands to plan for some travel.

They didn't outsource. Did you know that E&O bought over the whole chain of Delicious? If you recall my old blog post of the Delicious founder who went to visit me while I was studying in States.

I need to go try the food at Delicious again.

Opps, second complaint. I hear you.

@Twi:
I don't think so la. Just some kind of business arrangement with Delicious. Outsource the breakfast. I don't remember that post.
