Exploring EJ
Scheduled a spa package for mum on Saturday so I had 2.5 hours of free time. Unfortunately, KH was away in HK at the time, so I did not get the chance to have a bed romp with him. So sad. Rumah takde air, dalam kamar pun kering. The appointment with Tirta Spa, Seri Pacific Hotel was at 1:00 pm. Worried about the KL traffic during lunch time on a Saturday and the fact the part of Jalan Bukit Bintang was closed due to a sinkhole from the MRT construction. Decided that the LRT was a safer choice. But as luck would have it, there was some stupidity going on at the Bukit Jalil Car Park and we had to divert to Seri Petaling to park. Interestingly, mum bought the senior citizen token that was red in colour. I didn't know those tokens existed and can only be used at the extra wide luggage flap gates. I got off at Hang Tuah station while mum and SK proceeded to PWTC station. I alighted at 12:35, but only managed to board the monorail at 1:10 pm. In that period, only three trains arrived, and each was nearly full to the brim. An aunty was so annoyed that she shouted at the people inside to make good use of the space so that more people could board. Sweated like a pig on the platform with the heavy crowd. Ironically, RapidKL had people doing a customer satisfaction survey at the time. After I had managed to board, I found that the problem only existed at the Hang Tuah station. 70% of the passengers alighted at the next station. Such a failure to have an interchange that basically has 'no connection' at all. Luckily I made it in time for my lunch appointment with Nicky05 and EJ.
We met at Zang Toi Cafe, Parkson Pavilion. Both of them were quite surprised by the existence of such a place inside the department store. Away from the hustle and bustle, a short walk away from the restroom and just beside the Private Structure counter. Perfect. LOL. Nicky05 was the first to arrive. EJ was the straggler because he was busy shopping somewhere else. From the start, EJ warned me that he was a very shy person. Well, he's not really that shy la. Didn't hide under the table when my eyes were upon him. Didn't interrogate him that much today. Not much leads to work on. Nicky05 was very helpful. So I went for Nicky05 instead, prodding him about his relationship. Wasn't in the mood for Nasi Lemak, so I ordered the veal sausage sandwich instead. A bit soggy from the oil, but it was quite yummy. The short conversation didn't reveal much of anything new about EJ. But basically he has fetish for pants and Private Structure, and is a low-key person. Parted ways at about 3:00 pm. By that time, the heavy rain had subsided and I met up with mum and SK at Masjid Jamek. They had not eaten yet, so we went to Soong Kee Beef Balls at Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin. The food's still as good and they now parter with a mixed pork porridge stall called Lou Yau Kee.
Reached home at about 5:30 pm and the most tiring thing was we had a BEC gathering at 7:00 pm that night! And mum still needed to cook something for the potluck. In under half an hour, she whipped up a plate of meatballs with broccoli and enoki mushrooms. Not a big gathering at Bukit Serdang that night, but still, the food was good hehe. Just the funny thing was that there were too many noodle dishes that night turning it into a noodle banquet of sorts. The usual praise and worship, bible sharing and discussions. For the first time, SK brought Apollo's mum there. Was a fun night with much interaction. After it ended, the core team stayed back and shared a bottle of wine. Hehe. Another fruitful Saturday!

Here in KL, the crowds in the Putra LRT line are differently dressed.
