Meeting Mr. X
Saturday morning saw me at NSK Trade City. Did the usual rounds of marketing and breakfast at Restoran MCP. Filled the lazy Saturday afternoon with a screening of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". Not bad la. The preacher should have stripped off his shirt sooner. Later in the evening, I had a dinner appointment with a reclusive VIP. Mr. X was back in town in a shroud of secrecy. SK and I were warned not to breath a word of his visit! At about 6:00pm, we picked him up and we went for a steamboat buffet dinner at Shabu Shabu House. The moment he stepped into my car, SK nearly gasped for air due to his musky EDT. She actually wound down the window. LOL. He was a bit apprehensive about the dinner venue, but after being told that there was air conditioning, he was reassured. Putera Lilin. He looked pretty much the same (dressed in a tight A&F T again!). Hunky as always. And he was kind enough to bring me yummy noodles from his hometown. Didn't stay long at the place as one can only eat so much. Went off to Aeon Taman Equine after that for a bit of shopping. And as luck would have it, we bumped into my sister and little Cyan. He had always wanted to meet the cute tyke (KH is now insanely jealous!). What was more amazing was that fact that Cyan was a super mood and was not shy at all. Went to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng for drinks after that. Ordered a very yucky ice-blended cucumber and sour plum drink. Note to self: never order anything with a weird name that gives no clue to the drink at all. It was nice meeting Mr. X again after all this while.
