Not So Sharp
Remember the brand new Full-HD LCD TV that I bought during the CNY period? The Sharp Aquos 32" A66. It's not so SHARP after all. It has been giving me overheating problems. Just after 2 hours of watching, the word "TEMPERATURE" starts to flash in red at the bottom right of the screen. The blinking will get more and more frequent until it shuts itself off. How annoying. I had called the technician to look at it once before. The fella just reset the factory settings and refreshed the firmware. The problem went away for a while and now it's back again! Terukz. The second technician changed the main board and the results were horrible! The colours were leaching! And the sound disappeared after a while too! Then the video inputs went erratic. :S.
Blur Technician: Actually never see before this problem, but now OK already right?

And my sister's Sharp LED TV is also giving her problems. The volume's too muffled. My level 15 is equivalent to her level 40 and we are on the same scale! Amazing. "Made in Japan" is overrated! Sharp has serious quality and service problems!!! Anyway, I contacted the service superisor and gave him a piece of my mind. He sent over the first guy to replace another main board. I specifically told him I did not want the blur technician. So far, it's OK. **crossing my fingers**

cos i never play porn before on the tv.. hence the dvd player as well as tv are in perfect condition.. in fact, so good i can still sell off at market price.. :)
Maybe the quality was better 3 years ago. :). Porn spoils the TV?!
