Scrap It

If you're not going to enforce a law, please scrap it. The head of the government coming out to the press, hoping that she will "appeal", sounds fishy. Might as well just say it outright that the government needs a way to turun pentas. And it kinda implies the executive is meddling with the judiciary. If she wants to go through with it, lantaklah...

Now it is postponed because they do not have staff with the expertise to mete out the punishment. What a joke.

Totally agree with Dovey. Seriously, we lack the expertise to do anything. Wot do you expect of thugs and lazy-good-for-nothing peeps who are juz "experts" at looking at the clock for another tea-break or the exit, or setting up illegal roadblocks when funds are low.

Dove, we miss your blog leh! :(

It's quite hilarious and here's the irony: they want to "back down" to save their "image" (not that it's that good in the first place) but by saying this in public, to the media, it makes a joke of themselves.

Haha. They are making a mockery out of their pseudo-divine law!

@Grat:
Always for show, no essence. That is our "great asset".

@Beng:
Things are being manipulated here and there. Who knows whether what we read in the papers is true.

Send down your thunderbolts!

Hohoho... image is everything to a politician. :)

(It's really just a trap. All this time they've been waiting for DAP and PAS to argue with each other about it...but now they're not too keen on carrying it out)
