Made it a point to go to QueerR's farewell many Saturdays ago. My object was 3-fold:

1. To send off one of the pioneer members of my alternate friends group
2. To raid his 32GB of PSP games (forgot to raid his 70GB of porn)
3. To catch up with the gang at one go (specifically Takashi and Jase)

Quite an interesting affair. It was a potluck, but SK and I were at risk of turning up with 4 sikat of bananas. Tried our luck at Great Eastern Mall. Left the place with 2 roasted chickens and a delicious bread maki from Riche Montana to alas perut. Being already 30 minutes late, we still made it as the 2nd batch of guests to arrive. As the guests arrived, the dining table was filled with skewered chicken, roti jala and the accompanying chicken curry, fried rice vermicelli, shepherd's pie, tomato beef stew, potato-tuna-egg-mayo salad (a mouthful, this), nachos with taco sauce and a bucket of KFC.

Entertainment was provided by Janvier-- the Wii. But mostly, we entertained ourselves by mingling, using QueerR's internet, chatting with QueerR's mum (she thinks I look like a certain celebrity, but can't put her finger on it-- I'm hoping it's not Suneo), eating, camwhoring (JY brought 2 flashes-- double the fun), and discussing about boobs and how to measure their weight (shocking, ain't it?). Met Starwing for the first time and Leesh let me fool with her red sunglasses. Can't believe I spent around 5 hours there! Plenty of food leftover (fried beehoon for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea, dinner and supper also can't finish), but we still went out for dinner.

Dinner was at Nong and Jimmy's Thai Seafood Barbeque, Ampang. Wasn't quite in the condition to eat any BBQ food (supposedly famous for their BBQ crabs, but JL says they're quite tasteless), so we ordered other stuff. The butter prawns, mango salad and grilled cuttlefish were good. But the rest were not up to expectations. The steamed siakap was quite tasteless and the tom yum was average. Had an interesting side dish of mini cakwe with kaya. Desert was at Restoran Han Nam and we said our goodbyes to QueerR.
