They grunt, scream and scowl. Fabulous. The woman who collects the lunch money when the food is served has a military-like air to her. She demands money like you owe her thousands and that's not counting the interest yet. But for some reason, we keep going back week, after week. Defies explanation.

Do you have such a place?

Another "classic" shop would be the one in Petaling Street formerly, but had moved to Sri Petaling.

Crew/workers: Old "minister"
Attitude: BAD! Abusive language
Price: High
Deco: Old kopitiam style

Food: Excellent
Hint: I love the DUCK there... :P

Hmm... the only restaurant I've visited in Wisma Cosway is the Jap restaurant. But I know one or two male friends who go there for other reasons...

Is that sooo? Interesting.... But it does look seedy enough. I've never been to any of the Jap restaurants there. Is it any good?

The one I went to is on the ground floor, at the back of the building... it's ok lah, not that fantastic but ok. Price is affordable, too. I think the owner is a Japanese. If you want really good Jap food, try Ozeki at Menara TA One. But the bill may burn a few holes in yr pocket. I've personally not tried it yet. Waiting for a sponsor. =D

Btw, you ah... turned my comment section in my blog into a sex toy topic liao. You started it with blow-up and such. Tsk... tsk...

Ozeki, huh? You could say that I'm kinda a whore for Jap food. I'm currently in the process of squeezing a Kampachi Equatorial outta a colleague. Wish me luck.

I used to like Kamimura at the Weld and Munakata at Promet (moved to Yap Kwan Seng, harga pun melambung). Xenri at Old Klang road is not bad too!

You are thanking me for 'livening' up the comment thread, right? Do I get a Jap buffet dinner? :)

Lol. Just for that you want a Jap buffet dinner treat? Didn't your momma teach you that internet people could be baaaaaaad people? Dangerous. So for your safety, I'd have to say no. >:) Muahaha.

Xenri... where is that? Is it the one opposite Pearl Point? I know there's some signboard on the mainroad pointing to the left about some Jap restaurant, but I'm not sure if I got the right one...

Where is Kampachi Equatorial? The one in Bangi? My bro told me that it's quite good.

I've tried Sheraton Subang's Jap restaurant as well and I kinda like the concept there. It's buffet, but you've gotta order from the menu and only then will they cook for you.

Green Room in Sri Hartamas is good, too, but you gotta order food NOT in the menu... and for that you gotta call the boss in advance. Good stuff, I've to say.

I can provide my bank account no. and you can transfer me the buffet money. That way I'm safe, right? Hehe. But then good food without good company is still a drag.

Opposite Pearl Point, near Elken. Yup, that's the one. I've tried the ala carte only. The Sunday buffet is hell I hear.

Nope, the one at Jalan Sultan Ismail. It's better than Bangi I hear.

I love ala carte buffets. Munakata used to have it.

Green Room? Never tried. The only place I've tried there is Matsuba. Ordering something not on the menu?! I wouldn't know what to say. It reminds me of Kamimura's dinner ala carte. They pushed a whiteboard over with all the dishes of the day in Jap. I just gaped at it.

Wow, you've really been around the Jap cuisine scene.

Ok, since you said Xenri is good, I'll keep that in mind and bring my parents there. My dad loves Jap food... so if I hear of good ones, I'll bring him and my mom.

I've tried Nikko Hotel's... I can't remember much about it except the price -- costly. I only had Sashimi there.

Zakuro next to Ampang Park is quite nice, but the one in Mont Kiara doesn't smell so. Lol. I passed by the restaurant before it opened in the morning and it smelled super stinky FISHY! Eww...

Oh yeah, I ate in the Jap restaurant in KL Sentral... can't remember if it was Hilton or Meridien... it was nice. I love the sashimi... *drools*

Sugimoto in Hartamas is same row as Green Room. I used to go there for its value for money lunch box, but they started shrinking the portions. Don't feel full now. Food there is edible, too.

We don't know what to order out of the menu in Green Room either. We tell the boss what's our budget and he'll prepare the dishes. =)

No lah, I'm still exploring the Jap cuisine scene... but need adventurous folks to go with lor. Lately also slowed down a lot cos no good company.

Yeah Xenri memang sedap. Fresh. I tried the mini Kaiseki set the last time. Good taste, good presentation. But the price is above average. My mum also likes Jap.

I guess at Nikko, one would get premium sashimi. Can easily reach RM60 just for the sashimi moriawase. Zakuro I dunno. I'll try to remember that.

Ohh... Hilton or Meridien, the 5 star experience. Yeah, I love sashimi too. Kinda immune to wasabi these days. Sometimes tak berkualiti one.

Your comment of food there is 'edible' gives a bad impression, haha.

Oh yeah, don't bother with Jogoya. Not worth it.

Ah, perhaps one day can buat ekspedisi. After we confirm that we are both not serial rapists or psycopaths, that is. ;P

Jogoya? Where is that?

Oh yeah, I also tried this Jap restaurant in Citrus Park, OUG with my friends. No comment. Lol. Won't even consider it as one. BLEGH!

Almost choked on yr last sentence. Serial rapists and psychopaths? HAHAHAHAAH! Kelakar betol lah budak ni...

Joyoya @ Starhill Gallery. Dinner is 80 something ++. Check it out at www.jogoya.com.tw.

Citrus Park. Nippon Yata Imura?!

I blogged about both restaurants. Look through my May archives. Nippon Yata Imura, ok la. 'Edible'. :P

I was contemplating Deranged Sex Fiend and Murderous Nymphomaniac. But I decided on something a notch lower. Haha.
Wow id love to try that place!
