The kids were still with us after the All Soul's Day trip. My brother was still in KL, so we all went out to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The kids complained that I chose Japanese food for lunch, but I made some selections that were more aligned to their palette, e.g. cheesy grilled chicken, and sliced pork soup. Still in time to catch the Deepavali decorations at the mall. With the help of a private college, Pavilion decorated the concourse with a huge kolam that's supposed to be the train of a giant peacock! Very impressive. At the end of our shopping session, we went to the food court for coffee. Got Little Monster a Milo Dinosaur. It was a first for him, and he loved the messy process of drinking that. Personally, I dislike coagulated Milo powder.

Qing Ming is coming soon, and here I am blogging about last year's Catholic Qing Ming . True to our routine, the first thing we did in Teluk Intan was to have breakfast at Pusat Penjaja Maharani . Also bought some of my dad's favourite foods to be offered at the grave, for example the famous Liew Kee CCF. Flowers were bought at the nearby wet market. My sister let Little Monster to decide on the flowers. At the grave, we did some cleaning up before putting an array of food and fruits on the grave. The finishing touches were the flowers, candles, and incense. Then we all prayed the rosary, and poured tea for dad. And like past years, we went around lighting incense and saying some prayers for some of dad's neighbours. I was tasked to buy salted fish from the market. Came as a surprise that Sri Lankans like that stuff. They eat stuff like sambal ikan masin . Got him several chunks of the premium threadfin salted fish. Expensive stuff. For breakfast, mum and I shared curry noodles. Just the day before, SK was warded at Sunway Medical Center for acute abdominal pain. Turns out that she had a condition where water accumulated in her abdominal cavity. No reason was found even after an endoscopy and colonoscopy. The day after, mum and I brought big monster to see the GP after noticing him developing rashes with a lingering fever. He was diagnosed with chicken pox. Little Monster practically shunned his brother when he found out that his brother was developing blisters all over his body. Pushed him away and called him "disgusting". Brutal. 

The Success Together Global Convention was back again at Setia City Convention Center with the theme Live @ 18. KH was lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the crew for the event. Always fun to be able to check out some hunks among the TR90 Superstars. Brought mum along as well. Mum and I only stayed for the events on Friday and Saturday. On Friday night we stayed at a nearby AirBnB and left on Saturday night after supper with KH at Restoran Syed Abu . The food and service was meh , but it was the only option in the area. Spotted this abang sado , Athletic Archie on the MRT while I was commuting to work. From his kit, he's a trainer at CHI Fitness. I admit that this isn't a very good shot, but I couldn't peel my eyes off his calves and biceps. Can also catch a glimpse of his hairy legs. Should have asked him about CHI's 'free sessions'.
