Picnic & Pause

Image
Once a year, my BEC would have an outdoor activity. In 2023, we chose to have a picnic at Taman Bukit Jalil. A simple affair of fellowship, food, group exercise, qi gong , and silly games. Towards the end of the outing, a security guard came over to let us know that we actually need a permit to have such an activity. Opps. Since we were wrapping up anyway, he didn't kick up a fuss. Funny thing was, he started trying to sell us products. Got to admire his entrepreneurship.  Although I was pretty drained from the morning activity, paktor with KH on Saturday afternoons is mandatory. Visited Pause Cafe which is located in a quaint part of old KL. They bake a nice Blackforest cake that doesn't taste like Blackforest cake at all. LOL. The second cafe of the day was BaoBao Cafe back in our corner of the woods. Basically, they took over from Bui Bui, and even acquired the recipe for their Japanese toast. Not recommended to visit the place during heavy downpours because the one and o

Happy Raya

Image
During the Raya holidays, Tater balik kampung  to visit family and friends in Kuala Lumpur. Kampung Westin to be exact. KH and I met up with him at the hotel, and even had a morning swim. One of those rare times that I actually put my sexy swim trunks to good use. The highlight of the day was actually the gay matinee show at KLPAC. We had invited Tater to watch "Happy Fest" , a typical production from William Yap. As expected, Tater was the only potato in the village. Quite unexpected to see ang mohs at these Chinese productions although subtitles are provided. Can't say that I remember much of the details, but Jason Yau was in the cast to provide the much needed 'skin factor' ( I didn't bother to take photos although it was allowed ). Some topics 'covered' in the play was drug use, throuples, mental health x suicide (?), a Daddy's interaction with his mother-in-law. Douglas Wong's ( not too sure why he's wheelchair-bound ) portrayal as 塔塔罗

Little Black Toy

Image
Got this cute little toy from Shopee, and I must say that its pretty fun. Waterproof, easy to slip in, and even comes with a remote control. The ergonomic curve makes for a better fit too. Funny that it took me a while to find out how to charge it. Couldn't exactly find the charging port. Didn't dare to harshly push the plug in. But I must say that vibration is a very different feeling compared to penetrative sex. Doesn't quite get me off in the same way. Too much vibration just makes the mood go away after a while. Do you have similar toys in your arsenal?

All That Glitz & Glamour

Image
Looking back through my old posts, the last time mum and I watched a Dama Orchestra production was in 2010. Fast forward thirteen years later, we bought matinee tickets to "All That Glitz & Glamour", the 'sequel' to "Glitz & Glamour" which was where we left off. It was mum's first time at PJPAC, and it was a bit challenging for her to navigate the narrow aisles at the Circle. Overall, it was enjoyable, but I find myself giving the same comment about how obscure some of the songs were. Can't really connect. Spotted Dr Ben Gee  in the cast as a dancer. Always wondered why he has so much time to produce content for social media. At the end, Datuk Ho Kay Tat of the Edge Communications Group was celebrated for providing the necessary financial support to Dama Orchestra to weather the pandemic. Upon getting out, we were surprised to find that there was a makan-makan going on. Free food and wine!

Party at Platz

Image
A colleague of mine had a housewarming at Kenwingston Platz @ KL North and invited several people from the office. Must say that the common areas look pretty impressive. Most impressive is the rooftop of this 50-storey builing. Love the air-conditioned lounge which is a glass house which provides a 360 degree view. There's also a scary glass-bottom walk. But looking at my colleague's unit, the provided furnishings did not match the overall feel. Anyway, wonder if this place is popular among the gay lous. Switching on Grindr would be a good indication, but I don't have it installed on my phone :P.

What Does Underwear Have In Common With Frozen Yoghurt?

Whenever I meet up with SimonLover and Andy, there's usually underwear involved. No surprises there.

Bye, Kenji!

Kenji's stint in Malaysia came to end after a year of perseverance. He decided to head back to Canada to pursue his new-found interest in fitness and nutrition. And also to reunite with his cute corgi! Gave him a simple send-off at Rinjin Shokudo, and said our goodbyes. Perhaps KH and I will visit him in Canada again one of these days.
