Babysitting continued: Big Monster's activities continued on till Saturday. At 9:00 AM, he had replacement home tuition for two hours. Once that ended, we had to rush him to Sri Petaling for his science class. Then it was breakfast for Little Monster at Jojo Little Kitchen for his favourite pork ball pan mee . We had an hour to kill, so we hopped from shop to shop. Sri Petaling suddenly gave birth to several specialty grocery stores, exclusively selling snacks and drinks from Thailand, Taiwan, China, Japan, and Korea. Once we got tired of walking, we sat down at Inside Scoop for ice cream. Got the small one a scoop of strawberry yoghurt in a chocolate cone. When the one hour was up, we picked up the big one and brought him to lunch at Jojo Little Kitchen AGAIN. These kids need more variety. At 4:00 PM, the kids had swimming lessons. Due to some misunderstanding, I thought that they would be picked up from home, but turned out that I was supposed to send them to KM1 East. So, ...

Out of the blue, my sister and BIL went on a trip to Bangkok, and left the kids with mum and I. The amount of activities the kids have on the weekends are really astounding. On Fridays morning ( Awal Muharram ), we woke up at 7:00 AM to get Big Monster ready for his drama class. Once we dropped him at school, we dragged Little Monster to the wet market. He was kinda attracted to the sights and sounds, but he quickly complained that he had walked too much. I asked mum what she wanted for breakfast, and she suggested Cha Wala at Pearl Point. We parked at Pearl Shopping Gallery, thinking that we could use the link bridge, but it was way too early. Since the shutters were still down, we had to trudge back down and cross Jalan Sepadu. It's not a secret that I have a fetish for underwear. During my birthday, friends often help me add to my monstrous collection. An easy gift option when you don't know what to get me. I seem to just collect and collect. When a pair is no longer serviceable, I will stuff it into my old underwear drawer. Recently, while stuffing a pair in, I noticed just how full the drawer was. LOL. No point hoarding all that old underwear. Might as well do some spring cleaning. Mostly were briefs and trunks from various brands like Private Structure, Renoma, Skinxwear, Hush Puppies, GMW, Byford, Toot, Aussiebum, etc. From years ago. Kinda like ageing cheese. :P. So I grabbed a hotel laundry bag and stuffed it all in. SimonLover suggested that I sell the stuff online, but I don't think anyone would want underwear with exhausted elastic bands. Rarely get any holes in my underwear, it's always the band. Maybe cause I often hand wash my intimates. Anyway, I tied up the bag and thew it out...

The market was kinda quiet during the Malaysia Day weekend. Less cars, more parking. Tell-tale signs of the coming Mid-autumn Festival was also evident with sale of mooncakes, pomelos, lanterns, and chu chai peng . I wouldn't say that the sale of those items were exceptionally brisk. Kinda expected with the current sluggish economy. During my Friday night paktor session with KH at Kuchai Entrepreneur's Park, we drove past Village Sang Nyuk Noodles . Recognized it from those sponsored posts on Facebook, Gourmet Hunter KL, I Love Malaysian Food, and it's many cousins. Decided to give it a try for my post-market breakfast stop. We ordered both varieties, the Sang Nyuk Noodles ( soup ) and Hakka Noodles ( dry ). If you're the the type who likes the broth porky, then this is the place for you. I managed to talk KH into following me to morning mass on Sunday. I knew he was tired from all his activities on Saturday, and that he wasn't very keen, but he went along with it anyway. How can I not love the fella? Breakfast after church was another random choice-- 7th Mile Kitchen in PJ SS6. When we arrived, it was a full house with several people standing around waiting. We were lucky that we got a seat in just 15 minutes. The place is supposedly Klang Valley's best place for Sarawak hawker fare. So-called "Cat Tested, Cat Approved", which means that it has the seal of approval from Kuching-ites. For our breakfast, we had Mee Kolok and Sarawak Laksa . The Mee Kolok looked excellent with a very springy outlook. However, it was not the case when I put it into my mouth. Kurang sikit . However, the taste and the char siew was quite good. During my Brunei trip, I actually made a major decision on my health-- I started taking Nu Skin ageLOC TR90 . The TR90 programme is Nu Skin's answer of over-hauling one's body and keeping one young through gene expression sience. KH took it a few months ago and I was very impressed by the results: KH chucked his size 34 pants for size 30. I had to go shopping with him several times after I noticed that his clothes were fitting him badly, but hey that's a hubby's job. KH completely shed his pear-shaped physique. That actually means that I no longer can sleep on his tummy, but I'm totally fine with that. KH had become more energetic, able to stay out late with being cranky. I also find that he no longer gets hangry attacks.  KH regained the 'sharp' face shape of his youth. It's like kissing the him from ten years ago. For the second time, I was part of a task force to dissect the problems being faced by my client. What's the difference with the first time you may ask? The whole exercise was spearheaded by someone with different expertise and covered a broader scale. And of course, the ulterior motive was also different. The funny thing was, the first task force wasn't even closed yet, and here we were, part of another. Troublemakers coming in to 'save' the day. Anyway, the original schedule was two weeks, but we finished it in half the time. I was supposed to stay on anyway, but my CEO suddenly didn't like the idea of me being there. In my mind, its probably for strategic and budgetary reasons. I applied to get my ticket changed pretty late on Friday afternoon, so the ticketing department basically just ignored me.
