Transitioning from Christmas

Image
Been a while since mum and I ventured to Empire Shopping Gallery. Made a trip there after church for lunch and shopping. Showed mum the F&B choices there and she chose Canton-i . How the prices there have increased! MYR20-30 for rice and noodles with roast meat. When the waitress recommended the roast goose, I looked at the price and immediately shook my head. Halfway through my soup noodles, a family of three showed up and sat beside us. Their voices dominated half of the restaurant. Hubby: Darling please la! Let me go to the doctor! I'm sick you know! I have no idea why the wife wouldn't allow him to seek medical attention. But truthfully, he didn't sound sick with a booming voice like that. Hubby: (speaking to the air) Goodness! How hard is it to make a cup of lemon tea?! (waiter walks over to check then later brings the drink) Wife: I think they forgot your order. Hubby: Yeah la!!! Why didn't you follow up on it!?  They were so obnoxious tha

Midvalley Madness & Tangyuan Time

Image
Right after mass, I brought mum to Midvalley Megamall to look at the Christmas decorations. I wasn't daunted by the red lights on the parking board. I summarily ignore it and made for parking zone B. What a mistake that was. I wasn't prepared for the basement bedlam. Took me forty minutes to get a parking space after inching my way up and down for many iterations. Nearly went mad and I was still feeling a bit sick. But the Christmas decorations at The Gardens Mall was quite rewarding. Very colourful and oriental. Wonder if they will retain it up till Chinese New Year. Ate a light lunch at Hokkaido Ichiba . For winter solstice reunion 2015, mum wasn't in the mood to slave in the kitchen because for the whole month, she had been pulling her hair out taking of the monsters day and night. It's the same year in, year out because its the busy period for my BIL's business. So, she set a budget and asked me to organize a dinner for family and close friends. Dear KH

Distance

Note: A topic triggered by Nicky. I don't remember when I started having di s, but I think it was some time in 2008. For some reason, some people look up to me as their gor . I had a whole collection so to say. Not that I was collecting, but I somehow managed to get a following of sorts. First and foremost was Joe . He identified himself as the President of My Di Association. Then there was Kenzon who got me acquainted with Rich who was his boyfriend. There was also Chester and Jase. With Jase, there was a connection to KT my mei  and PluBoy. Did I leave anyone out? But I really wonder what that means to be someone's gor . How big of an did impact did we make in each other's lives? Did I dispense sagely advice? Was I their rock in a tumultuous sea of gay drama? Was I always there for them? Did they look to me for direction in life? Was I someone for them to manja  with? Or was it just a taken social connection just for the heck of it? Today, my  di s have all grown up

Beauty and the Stump

Image
Recently we discovered that our colleague was chasing after a girl. I shall refer to him Stump because that's the feeling I always get when I talk with him. A very socially-awkward fellow. His relationship seems to be a complicated affair because after so many months he couldn't confirm the status. Here's an excerpt of a conversation he had with another colleague I shall call PointBlank, a mother of two: PointBlank: You went on a Singapore with her? Stump: Uhmm.... Yes. PointBlank: You paid for everything? Stump: Uhmmm.... Hotel, flight tickets, Universal Studio tickets.... PointBlank: Nearly everything la. Stump: Uhmmm... Yes. PoitBlank: Did you hold her hand? Stump: Uhmmmm... Yes. Only in Singapore. PointBlank: Har? She won't allow you to hold her hand in KL? Stump: Uhmmm... Yeah. She says I'm not smart enough to be introduced to her friends. Perhaps later when I'm smarter and make more money than her. PointBlank: WTF?! She's playin

Mitsui Boh Sui

Image
Woke up bright and early on Saturday morning not because I wanted to do taichi or jack off, but because ... I had enough sleep. A sign of age and no thanks to the continued stiffness in my back. Lazed in bed till it was time to have breakfast nearby. SK, KH, Lifebook and Brian had arrived after 9PM. We ate at the nearby Restoran Fei Wang . The highlight of the meal was a jar of tauchu that SK passed around the table. Contained a thick concoction of birds nest supplied by Lifebook. Yummy. Now we know his beauty secret. Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang opened on that Saturday without much fanfare but with a lot of 'fireworks'. The journey there took roughly half an hour. Would have been faster if not for the bottleneck at Taman Equine. Plenty of parking was still available when we arrived. First thing we realized about the place was the many closed lots. Close to half actually. The first shops we noticed was the Isetan Outlet and a Japanese specialty store called Fan. Ther

Penang I: Mumlindo

Image
Planned a getaway to Penang with the gang during the Labour Day long weekend. Bought the flight tickets six months before. At that time, I wasn't certain what the plan for my mother's birthday was. Closer to the date, I found the travel dates to be clashing. Bro had bought tickets to KL for April 30th, while I was supposed to fly off on May 1st! Dang! To make things work, I suggested to my siblings to celebrate mum's birthday in Penang! After some discussion, we reached a consensus. The Tribe would drive to Penang on Friday and my brother would follow them. On the other hand, I bought an extra flight ticket for mum to Penang. Didn't want her to spend too much time in the car in case her neck acted up again. Unfortunately, the flight back to KL was sold out, so she would have to follow my sister's car back to KL. Instead of flying back to Singapore from KL, my brother bought a flight ticket from Penang to Singapore. Phew. With the arrangements in place, it was all

The Year of the Lamb Burglar

Image
At the end of February, I was the designated driver to mum's charity event at SJK(C) Chung Kwo. Exactly one year ago, I went to the same school on a wild goose chase . Once bitten, twice shy. This year, I got there with no fuss and even found a good parking spot. The organiser had given the Spring Single Mothers Association one table, so I was there to fill the space. Every year, this Christian association organizes a huge charity lunch for the needy. There were goodie bags at each table and an 8-course lunch by Restaurant Sheng Hui , a caterer from Sekinchan. Loads of performances ranging from song and dance to a testimony from an ex-paralympian. The emcee was Lim Ching Miau, the controversial plus-sized actress from two of Teresa Kok's "Onederful Malaysia" parodies. You would remember her as "Mrs. Jit". Currently she is promoting her movie "Kung Fu Taboo". As luck would have it, my dinner was also by Restaurant Sheng Hui . Mum and I were at

Shake It Off, Shake It Off

Image
Taylor Swift's song "Shake It Off" didn't quite hit get my attention until I watched the music video on YouTube one day. In one of the earlier scenes, she is seen with a troupe of modern dancers and one guy's beautiful ass caught my attention. So round, so perfect, so muscular. To prove my point, I follow up with some screen captures below. That actually made me go on a YouTube ass-hunting spree that got me acquainted with the Prince of Ballet, Roberto Bolle. Another amazing specimen of male beauty with dazzling derriere.  Third guy from the right! And coming up is the Italian ballet dancer, Roberto Bolle, the perfect specimen of an athletic and lithe musculature. And of course great piece of ass. Guess I should dance, Hahahahaha. Prince Charming is out That ass!
