LRT Celebrities: Smiley Cyril

Image
Smiley Cyril , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. It's been a long time since the last LRT Celebrity. Some of you must be thinking that the plug had been pulled on this segment. That couldn't be farther from the fact. I have been snapping away, but for some reason, I had neglected processing the photos. Huhu. Too much distraction from KH perhaps. :P. Without further ado, I present to you Smiley Cyril ! LRT: Ampang Line Direction: Towards Sentul Timur What caught my attention was his sweet smile. Not sure what video he was watching on his smartphone ( Coat West perhaps? ), but it surely perked him right up. And if his smile doesn't do it for you, I'm sure his hairy, strong legs would. If only his backpack wasn't blocking the view of his torso. :P.

Sunday with Little Monster (Cafe Celebrities: Sailor Shin)

Image
Goku Raku Ramen , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. My sister had to OT again on Sunday, so she offloaded Little Monster on mum and I. Thankfully, she took Big Monster along with her to work. Without his mum around, Little Monster tends to be mellower and less manja . He was quite well-behaved at church. Just the usual ass-can't-sit-on-the-pew syndrome. Brought him to Coffee Sprex after mass. When the barista saw me, she immediately signed an 'L' and I just nodded. The usual. Haha. Met the co-owner of the establishment. She explained to me that she ran a programme of eighteen months to train the deaf and mute to run the business. Her first project was at Damansara Perdana for Cafe Aloha. She took a liking to Little Monster and gave an accurate assessment of his age and character. Gave him a butter cookie, but he was too shy to eat it. To make life easier, lunch was at Paradigm Mall again. This time round we went straight up to the top-most floor for Goku Raku Ramen . T

Dinner & Dessert (LRT Celebrities: Fitness Floyd)

Image
Surfboard , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Late Friday evening, my client surprised me with a last minute program migration to production. Bah. And I was supposed to leave on time that day for my paktor session with KH. Since it was urgent ( performance tweak for impending high volume transactions ), I had no choice but to prepare the necessary documentation and approval. The celaka thing was, the bosses had already left work and I needed to get an endorsement via e-mail. Ended up calling the project manager, who was the most pening of the lot. Managed to settle everything by 7:30 pm. Luckily KH never lou gai . Very understanding BF. Hehe. Our dinner venue was Koryori Enoshima , formerly known as Ozeki Italian. Same boss. Same staff. Just different name, different interior, partially different menu. They basically stained the whole interior with white paint. Very woody. A surfboard features prominently on the wall. Too bad no Surf Surf Revolution waiters. One thing irked me thou

The Mousetrap & Celebtrity Kong Sai Karl

Image
Been working my ass off ever since the system went live. Coming in at the wee hours and leaving late at night. As the Chinese like to say-- "No day, no night". Or worse still, "Got time to die, no time to fall sick". KH had bought tickets for Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" ( or some reason, KH always tersasul say "The Mouse Hunt" ) and it wasn't cheap. Naturally he was worried that I couldn't make it and he hadn't seen me for more than a week. Gotta admit that I was a bit disappointed that he seemed to be more worried about the play rather than my current work conditions. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. Just that KH often says the wrong things at the wrong times. I know that he always thinks of me. But anyway, with the system stabilising by the end of the week, I sat down with my boss and arranged a work shift so that I could take Saturday afternoon off. Naturally, KH was thrilled. Picked him up at about 1:00

MRT Celebrities: Chesty Charles & Presentation Pete

Image
Hi guys. I'm still very dry in the LRT Celebrities segment so I've roped in some help from BeautifulMale, a connoisseur of Caucasian men. The first hunk in today's post is Chesty Charles, spotted in Singapore's MRT. Just look at how thick he is ( down south I dunno la )! That tight polo T! Bet he can pin me down in bed ( not like I'd put up much of struggle ). Presentation Pete here wasn't spotted in the LRT obviously. Seen at a coffee joint in Chulan Tower. With his cool hair and neat facial hair, I'd be sold. I can just imagine myself unbuttoning that fitting white shirt of his. Hope this will keep you guys satiated for a while. Until the next stop, keep on wanking in the train like Matuatama!

Restaurant Celebrities: Waiter Wally

Image
Waiter Wally , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Due to a severe drought on the LRT, today's celebrity is brought to you by a friend of mine, Ken. He spotted Waiter Wally while he was dining at a seafood restaurant in Kepong. Looks to be of Myanmarese descent. Well-dressed for a waiter in a Chinese restaurant. Kinda like his shirt. And of course would like to see him out of it. Not the cutest of guys but I won't mind him starring in my own personal porn video. Seems to be the lean, lightly-muscular that I heart. What do you think? Is he your cup of tea?

Vote for Wantan Mee

Image
Foochow I , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. With the polls just less than a month away, my parish priest started talking about our rights as voters and that we have a civic duty to vote. During the sermon, he reminded that the rakyat were the bosses and we should not be afraid of changing our government. Not happy? Change. Still not happy? Change again. At the end, a video fom Catholic Research Center & The Council of Churches Malaysia was screened. Responsible stewardship. Something everyone should think about. Suddenly had a hankering for the wantan noodles at Aman Suria, but apparently they had moved again. Difficult to do business there. Shops keeps closing down. Restoran 747 is no longer in business and the spanking new Ipoh Kopitiam just opposite it also went under. Can anyone tell me where they moved to from Restoran Shang Yi Fatt? :(. Ended up at Restoran Yong Hao that serves up Foochow food and dim sum . A horribly hot and stuffy restaurant with the workers c

Tea-VB

Image
Retro , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. Once again, post-church lunch plans at Plan B were scuttled by the lack of available tables. Waiting for a table is unacceptable! Walked around wondering what to eat and stumbled upon Purple Cane Tea Restaurant at one of the hidden corners of Paradigm Mall. Newly-opened and with interesting interior design-- wooden furniture with the use of painted bamboo, giant lanterns, patterned tiles, tea containers and old world tableware. From the menu, I picked out stewed duck wings ( cheap and yummy ), shrimp omelette, stir-fried pumpkin and fried artisanal noodles. Thought the portion was small, but turns out I over-ordered. Also ordered a teapot of Jasmine tea at just MYR2/pax. We drank pot and pots of it and the aroma was still strong! Worth it. Paradigm Mall was abuzz at around 1500 due to the appearance of several TVB stars who were in town to film a TV series entitled "Outbound Love". Don't find the male actor cute. Mum

Taiwan IV 2nd Half: Rock Home

Image
Tianxiang , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. BONUS MATERIAL in this super long-winded post (fourth in the series of many!): Taiwan Celebrity-- Juice Jack ! Took a long drive in the mountains ( with fantastic views ) and eventually reached Tianxiang , a large river terrace recreational area. Beautiful area where Dasha River and Taci Jili River converge to become Liwu River. The river cut through the mountains revealing smooth, marble boulders. At the end of the Pudu uspension bridge was Xiangde Temple , that's only accessible by climbing the many steps up. SK wasn't thrilled by the idea, so she decided to rest in the car. So, KH and I had the chance to go paktor -ing again. Really quite challenging to rush up to the temple since Lewis only gave us an hour. But luckily it was quiet enough for us to hold hands. Hehe. At the top, there was a tall White Robed Guanyin Statue and the Tian Feng Pagoda. The elevated views were quite breathtaking but the main stemple wasn't qu

Taiwan IV 1st Half: Taroko Rocks!

Image
Lushan , swiped from williamnyk on Flickr. BONUS MATERIAL in this super long-winded post (fourth in the series of many!): Taiwan Celebrity-- Bilu Billy In the middle of the night, KH got out of bed to use the loo and get some hot water. Seeing that his stirring woke me, he brought me some water to drink. Turns out that he had developed a sore throat. The next morning, SK also declared that she had a sore throat. Wonder if it was the millet wine or the fried stuff for dinner, combined with the hot springs. I was OK, but maybe because I had a sore throat from the beginning. Haha. Of all the bed and breakfast places that we stayed it, the place at Lushan actually provided breakfast! Hallelujah. A porridge buffet, but they labeled their porridge as stirabout. It was served in the typical Taiwanese style with peanuts, dried bean curd, fermented bean curd, omelette and some pickles. Satisfying and warming for the belly. Checked out from the place and took some pics at the suspension br
