Surprising SkyHaus
Some Sundays, I just make a random look on Google Maps to determine where mum and I should eat after Sunday mass. Found SkyHaus Café just behind my church, nestled within a residential area. Rare to see a café with a rating of 4.5. And the fact that it was a vegetarian joint didn't deter me from trying it. Business was good on a Sunday afternoon although the area was pretty dead. The café had plenty of natural light and tables were arranged around a central work area for the barista and cashier ( which happened to be all young boys ). Most of the food on the menu was western, but there were also a few Asian items. The waiter recommended the fettucine carbonara, and I chose the siphon signature coffee to go with it. The carbonara sauce was pretty thick, and the pasta had a great texture. Even the vegetarian ham looked like real meat. LOL. The coffee was also great, it suit my palette.
