Late for School

along the way
By Wendy Andrews (Flickr)
On Friday morning, Sis and BIL took an early flight to Guangzhou. At 2:50 AM, Little Monster was wailing for his mum. He looked out the living room window, calling his mum to return. It continued upstairs and repeated downstairs. Finally quieted down after twenty minutes. I continued to sleep on the couch. At 6:25 am, the doorbell rang. The neighbour was at the front door waiting to pick Big Monster to school! The best thing was, he was still asleep. Told her to proceed, else the rest would be late too. Mum didn't wake up too cause she only slept after the Little Monster episode. Mum quickly got him ready and we jumped into the car to get him to school on time. Luckily we made it by 7:00 AM. Things have changed so much now. Schools actually look like prisons. Grills all around and guards at every entrance. Headed home after that. Phew! By evening time, I was already kinda pooped. Wanted to go paktor with KH but my plans kinda got scuttled. My boss called me in to talk about abandoning ship. Things weren't looking great under the new management and we were discussing options, both internal and external...

Yikes! That's what is happening at my workplace too. We still haven't gotten green light from SC and Bursa for changing ownership. It sucks. So hang in there. Things are gonna get worse, or better, soon. Good luck.
p/s big and lil monsters are cute.

Spot on! Schools really look like prisons now with so many guards & grills at those private schools.
