Mr. Virus
The day after I arrived home, I had started feeling a bit weird. Due to important things at work, I ignored the feeling and just soldiered on, popping a few pills as I went. Dragged the whole thing out till Saturday morning. Went marketing as usual (saw a couple of grannies doing TCM cupping with bull horns and bamboo segments beside the drain... how retro) and had breakfast at Restoran Soon Lei, Kuchai Lama. The owners seem to be stepping things up, trying to compete with their more successful rivals, Goon Wah. Didn't order their latest creation, XO Pearl Noodles (it's just a hyped up lor loh shu fun), but settled for their classic fish head noodles instead. Added on a piece of pumpkin cake and yam cake each. More than enough. It was at the restaurant that I had noticed the rashes all over my hands. A more thorough investigation revealed that my trunk was also covered in rashes! Yikes! Immediately went to see the GP. Diagnosis: some type of measles. Just gave me antihistamines and calamine lotion, both of which I ended up not using. It was just business as usual for me. Later that evening, my renovator came over to replace my water taps. The el cheapo ones were starting to give problems, so I decided to change all of 'em. Couldn't handle it myself cause it required sawing off the old PVC pipes and replacing with the flexible pipes. For dinner, my neighbour gave us some goodies-- kuih pelita, nasi tomato and ayam masak merah. Yummy stuff. Ate them together with SK's stewed chicken rice. Apparently the virus did not affect my appetite at all. :P.
A few days later, muscle pain kicked in. The funny thing was that only my calves were affected. Perpetually felt like my calves were in a post-cramp condition. Shuffled up and down. Antinous diagnosed it as viral myalgia. My colleagues were amused that I walked like an old man. And getting down the stairs gave me excruciating pain. On Friday, I went to my client's place for a meeting. Met up my colleague for a lunch meeting at Serai to iron out some details. Spent a whopping MYR80 there for nasi lemak, nasi kerabu, ice lemon tea, capuccinno and berry pavlova. Steep. And worst of all, I had to hobble down three flight of stairs when leaving the venue. After work that day, I shuffled over from Jalan Perak to Suria KLCC. People were wondering why I was grimacing and walking so slowly. Met up with DeanR (a cute friend from IG) at Little Penang Cafe. Been ages since I ate there. Ordered a simple lam mee and later headed for drinks at CBTL. Talked a lot about his internship and his future in IT Management. Didn't stay too late as I wanted to rest my legs. Took the LRT with him and I later hailed a cab at Bangsar LRT to get my car which was still parked in Bukit Damansara. As we stopped in front of the office tower, the taxi driver asked me:
"You tinggal sini ke? Ada rumah?"
Should have said that my gay boss was working late and that he needed some input from me for an important proposal. Hahahaha. By that time, I was thankful that the roads were clear. Some respite for my poor legs. Quickly showered and waited for KH to call so that I could manja with him... Sleep came easily after that.

No la, just saying... :)
Haha. Wise thing to do.
@JokerPJ:
Better if he could 'manja' me in person
