Sa-Tater-Day

On my next trip to Singapore, my brother invited me to dinner. Italian this time, his all time favourite. Dined at Trattoria Nonna Lina on Cantonment Road. The restaurant is named after the owner's Grandmother, Lina. Great food. Loved the spicy crab penne and the tiramisu is a must-have. My brother likes to gauge the quality of an Italian restaurant by ordering the panna cotta. Their rendition of that classic dessert passed with flying colours. Do give the restaurant a try when you're in that neck of the woods. As I was getting ready to go out for a mall crawl on Saturday, I wished Tater good morning. Told him I planned to check out the Christmas decorations around City Hall. As luck would have it, he was free to join since his lunch date was cancelled. Following KH's suggestion, I went to Raffles City first. Not much to see except some giant Christmas baubles. Tater was oozing patience following me on my aimless photography session ( ended up with nothing much to s

Kopisusu Recham

Right after Sunday mass, mum and I had dinner at Restoran New Paris with my BEC committee members. It was a lunch meeting to discuss future plans and introduce the incoming president. I only stayed long enough to settle the bill. By 2:00 PM, we left for DPAC to watch Kopisusu Recham. Waze was a bit loopy that day, so got there a little late. Just 15 minutes for us to redeem the free cup of K3K Benta Kaya coffee before the show started. At the foyer was a small exhibition of memorabilia from old Malaya. The show started 15 minutes later than scheduled. The producers called it a concert play, but basically it was just Yudi singing, accompanied by live musicians. Some intermittent banter and dancing. And a light plot to lead from one song to another. All golden oldies, Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Most songs were sung dual-language with new lyrics filled in. For example, Teresa Teng's "Tian Mi Mi" was converted into "Dayung Sampan" with a Japanese vibe. Surpr

STUD on a Stud

STUD Underwear is no stranger to gay men in Malaysia. It appeared in 2009, the brainchild of Voon Lai & Jonathan Cheng ( get a glimpse of these hunky fashion bosses during the annual warehouse sales at Plaza Damas ). When they first appeared, the sizing was super small and not cheap for something home-grown. Today, their sizing has matched up to more mainstream standards but their price has also gone the same way. All possible with their superb marketing and choice of hunky models like Jason Chee and Alex Chee. Anyway, I'm quite happy that they are doing well and even happier when I found that their VERY STUD underwear range has made it into gay porn! Here are some stills from Helix 8Teenboy's "Pianist Gets Pounded" ( Jacob Dixon & Josh Bensan ). Congrats to STUD underwear.

Got home late on Friday night. AirAsia or KLIA2 always has a way to screw up your schedule. If not for flight delays, it would be baggage hiccups or long taxi queues. But we can always blame it on the rain. My colleague took the the 1825 flight while I took the 2015. Ironically, we arrived in KL at the same time. Took supper that mum had prepared. Loved the stuffed chicken wings that she had made for the first time. Great pairing with minced pork and wild yam. Loaded my laundry into the machine, pre-set it to start in six hours and went to bed. Activities on Saturday were all planned out. Had a wantan mee breakfast with SK before bringing mum and the kids out to The Pavilion to look at the Christmas decorations. Nothing ground-breaking really, just that this year, they had a giant Santa Claus Christmas tree and much use of animatronics. Lots gyrating elves and snowmen. The kids had fun in a mini merry-go-round with Little Monster shouting "going up" and "going down&q

KH Wedding Trip III: Hi Baby, Bye Baby

Image
Slept in on Sunday morning because I had already attended sunset mass the evening before. More time to snuggle and kiss in bed, our hands greedily going for each others skin. At about 10:30 AM, we went out hunting for food. Settled for a charsiew bun from the MRT station. Did a second round of Christmas shopping at Kino and BHG and we still weren't done. Had a lunch date with Eunice and family ( who happened to be having a staycation at Intercontinental Hotel to celebrate the birthday of the two most important men in her life, her son and hubby ), MoonlightPiggy and her colleague at Ma Maison . Eunice's baby is getting cuter. Quick to smile and quite the attention whore. Passed him around the table like a basket of bread. I was satisfied with the spicy mentaiko spaghetti that KH ordered. Good taste and had some wok qi . Eunice didn't join us for post-lunch coffee at Toast Box as her son had his 'drink' plans too. Went to Bras Basah Complex after that to lo

KH Wedding Trip II: Cafe Hopping

With two nights of pent up horniness, KH was ready to blow. Bright and early on Saturday morning, he got very frisky and started going for my behind. Guess the fact that I was in a jockstrap helped things along. He went to business with me without having to take off a single article of clothing. Talk about convenience. With our carnal appetite satisfied, next was our tummies. Roamed out to Toast Box at Bugis Junction to have eggs and toast. Needed the protein replenishment. Went Christmas shopping at BHG after that. By 12:30 PM, we made a move to Artistry to secure a table. Unfortunately they only seated full parties. After W850i and Kidz arrived, we took our seats. Andy took another half an hour. Heard that the place was gay-friendly and pet-friendly, but we saw neither species there that afternoon. Got ourselves a Nasi Lemak Burger to share. Nothing special really. Kinda like a fried chicken burger with some condiments and sambal on the side. The latte I liked. Kidz and Andy had
