Birthday Babi

Pork: It's the Meat of Kings

Arranged to have dinner with Cutipie early in December to celebrate her belated birthday. She managed to get her hubby to look after the kids so she was free of 'encumbrances'. Pork was calling to her again so we had dinner at Morganfield's for the second time in a row! But for some reason, their business is brisk compared to the rest. Perhaps they take their babi-ness more seriously. Even their paper napkin is printed with "Pork: It's the Meat of Kings". Hope they won't get in trouble with the law. Might be misconstrued as waging war against the YDPA. Our dinner was a meat overload really with a full rack of Hickory pork ribs and a chicken roulade. But paired with Asahi beers, it wasn't too bad. My darling KH kept piling her plate with meat earning him some brownie points.

Not wanting to go home so early, we looked for a place to have coffee. Our wanderings brought us to dipndip, a coffee parlour that serves coffee as well. The place seems popular with customers of Middle Eastern descent. As I was fretting with a table, I suddenly noticed that Cutiepie was staring at someone with a sloppy grin on her face. When I turned to look only did I realize the hunky waiter. He definitely had the makings of a Bollywood actor. Tall, broad shoulders, big eyes, strong jaw and a scruffy-manly look. Unfortunately, he was also a bit himbotic, which for my purposes, does not matter. We got his name as Adib, so he is henceforth knighted as dipndip Adib. Go stalk him there if you feel like having 'chocolate'.
