New Stock

Come to think of it, I have not blogged about underwear in ages. If I had a body like James Pianka, The Underwear Expert's style reporter, perhaps I would even vlog! Anyway, this is just a quick update on the latest acquisitions in my ever-growing collection of undies. KH recently surprised me with three pairs of sporty GX3 hipsters. Hugs your booty low enough to show some crack. And the synthetic material is super silky and comfortable. The pouch is well-designed too. My first for his sexy Japanese brand. The next item I bought at a whim from Kitschen. I'm not a fan of their clothes but as I was burning time during Friday lunch hour, I spied their boxer shorts with super cute prints! Smiling whales and cartoon-y cars. I grabbed both! Perfect for lounging at home. Think its something new from them. Everyone wants to try their hand at underwear.

Water Woes Again

Image
Took Monday off to replace Nuzul Quran on Saturday. Perfect opportunity for me to check out the water woes at home. Recently, the water bill had been erratic with the last outstanding balance at MYR100+. How can two persons with no cleaning obsession use that much water a month!? The plumber wasn't coming in so early. When I called him some time before 9:00 AM, he answered the phone groggily. Think he was still sleeping. Went to breakfast with mum at Taman Damai Utama. When he came, we did some testing and eliminated some possibilities. In the end, he put his suspicion on the bathrooms. Odds were high at the master bedroom. The pipes were empty after the valve was closed indicating some abnormal beaviour. Think we heard a constant trickling sound behind one wall. The plumber left some time before noon and asked me to monitor the meter closely after letting the water tank fill up. Don't think he will be returning anytime soon to solve my problem. Lets see what the bill amount

Selamat San Andreas

Image
Bought tickets to watch "San Andreas" with mum on Sunday. It was a B1F1 ticket thanks to HSBC credit cards ( the only benefit that is useful for me ). But whatever I saved on the movie ticket I used to pay for parking. Wanted to park at the shopping mall, but it was darn crowded. Parked at One World Hotel instead. Lunch was at Ichiro Sushi Bar . So difficult to order. Not many good lunch sets and the ala carte stuff were mostly premium. nigiri sushi averaged at RM10 per piece. San Andreas was pretty entertaining from start till end. But the survival of the Gaines family throughout the whole ordeal was very far-fetched. And I couldn't really accept Paul Giamatti as the CalTech earthquake expert. Due to his distinct voice, I can't shake his villainous persona Hertz from "Shoot 'em Up" . Didn't actually buy anything our whole time in One Utama although the Raya sales were in full swing. The decoration at the Centre Court seemed pretty low key. T

Dharma as Water

Image
Over lunch one day, KH told me about his colleague's involvement in Tzu Chi's "Dharma as Water" performance. She wanted him to see her perform so she offered him free tickets. He took four so that both of us could bring our mothers. Knew little of it was until the day of the performance, but I did know there would be a lot of people watching. Even the rehearsals caused jams at the vicinity of Putra Indoor Stadium. Trust Tzu Chi to be able to mobilise a force of 2016 performers and countless support staff to present something spiritually beautiful to an audience of 16,000! The culmination of 50 years of experience. Mum and I arrived at the venue a little after noon. It wasn't so chaotic yet, but the crowd was building up. Plenty of volunteers smartly-dressed Tzu Chi style ( white shoes, polo T buttoned to the top and tucked into dark pants ) directed traffic, ushered guests, manned product counters, took photographs and videos and helped out at food stations. And

Coffee with Sharky

Image
Right after Sunday mass, I sent mum to Seri Petaling to attend a free make-up course by "Beauty & Conscience". As with all 'Aunty' events, details are usually sketchy requiring some digging. All I had was an address. I found the name of the place via Google and roughly guessed the location from Google Maps. When we arrived at the venue, it was on the second floor of an old shop lot near Restoran Good Tea ( shared a wantan mee with mum ). The place didn't even have a signboard, just a poorly affixed banner. Since mum would only be a couple of hours, I went in search of a coffee shop to kill some time. Also tried my luck with Sharky and KH, hopefully they would be available. Coffea Coffee was the first place I stumbled upon. Got a flat white and chicken cheese roll ( quite sedap ) and waited for the guys. KH was the first to arrive. Wasn't sure if Sharky would come as he didn't confirm. At about 3:00 PM, he arrived. By that time, it was already a ful

Sweat It Out

Can't believe that I had not been to the OUG wet market for more than a month. My revisit rewarded me with jambu seller with big arms. In the coming weeks, I shall endeavour to get a spycam shot of him to share here. Wish me luck! Brought mum to Hawker Street KL for an asam laksa breakfast. She loved it. On the other hand, I gave the white curry noodles a try. Although it wasn't a recommended item on the menu, I found it quite delicious. On our way home, we passed by Faber Towers. Surprised to see that the building was given a makeover. There's an upmarket supermarket there now called De Market. A nice place to buy fruits, vegetables and imported groceries. The selection is impressive but not quite the level of B.I.G. By the time we got home, it was already noon. I had a booty call at KH's place while his parents were out to a wedding lunch. Hehe. Got to his place before 1:00 PM and we freshened up together. The first thing I asked for was the dildo that he had

The Elf Will Cross The Sea

Ever since Savante moved to Miri, Legolas joined the Overseas Wives Club. I recently exited that club with KH's return from Singapore and we have not looked back since. However, I recently received word that Legolas would be ending his LDR and joining his hubby in East Malaysia! Happy and sad news indeed. Happy that he would be reunited with his love, sad that the BFF lose another key member. Anyway, KH and I arranged a dinner with him on Thursday night at Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine , Menara TA One. Kinda shocked that BeautifulMale said that he would be joining! Normally have to book him months in advance le. Unfortunately, Legolas called in sick on Thursday morning. We went ahead with the dinner anyway. A farewell dinner became a catch up dinner. KH didn't really like the menu. It was hard to order from which reminded me of Sushi Tei's menu. And a big chunk of the house specialties was not available but not marked in the menu. That's kinda annoying in my book. Ryan ordered

KH Over For Tea

Image
Numerous visits to Le Pont Boulangerie later, I finally brought my mum there for lunch. Noticed that they had lunch sets now so I gave that a try. Came with soup, main and cake du jour . I choose the mini burger sliders over the risotto. Not much a fan of Italian rice. The cake of the day was flour-less chocolate cake which were too full to eat. We ventured up to the Oriental Art & Cultural Center to take a look at a photography exhibition by Kim Teoh. The OACC is an initiative by the Elken Group dedicated to the arts. In the afternoon, KH gave me a visit. He brought over the Harrod's handbag for mum that he had bought during his UK trip. She loved the cute design of doggy prints. Mum prepared afternoon tea which consisted of grape juice from her trip to Voyager Estate, Western Australia, steamed custard buns and curry puffs. Definitely not your usual definition of afternoon tea. LOL. When mum's not in the living room, KH would still a kiss and cop a feel. His usual

Find My Dad

Image
Due to her connections, mum got some free preview tickets to the movie "Find My Dad" / "平平安安". The event was organized by Asia Tropical Films and among the invitees were Semarak Kasih Selangor, Malaysian Spring Single Mother’s Society and Beautiful Gate Foundation for The Disabled. Even YB Teresa Kok was there to lend her support for the local film industry. Euho is the director with a mix actors and actresses from several countries. The star is Mini Bin from Taiwan who plays the kid who is looking for his dad. Jeanette Aw from Singapore's The Little Nyonya plays his mother, while Yise Loo ( Malaysian singer ) plays his aunt. And throw in Victor Wong of Michael & Victor fame and Hong Kong's Hayu to complete the rojak . Before the movie started, they warned us that it was a tear-jerker. Some parts of the plot were a bit far-fetched, but there were some funny moments. Some parts of the movie was filmed around Old Klang Road, so it was fun for me to spot

Audit Acting

Image
On Friday, my whole team was stationed at Bandar Utama for an audit. A requirement for my company to keep its special tax status. Since the registered address is at group HQ, we had to pretend that we work there. I had to follow up with the admin people to make sure that they prepared a 'clearly-designated working area' for us. Admin: I think we cannot get cubicles for you because a whole bunch of people would need to move their desktops and reconfigure their network. Can you use one of the small meeting rooms instead? Moi: Since you put it like that, no choice lo. I check with my COO. Admin: Don't say no choice. Not we cannot do. Just asking. ( fuiyoh, cover ka cheng mode! ) *** Admin: I've prepared an island with 8 seats. Another two at the side. Moi: Thanks. Can I check with you whether the cubicle has a clip where I can affix a sign? Admin: I think you better come over to Bandar Utama now to make sure everything is in order. ( wahseh, already 5:00 PM

A Belated Account of a Belated Birthday

Image
Been ages since I met Nicky05. Perhaps more than half a year. Gave him a shout-out on our What's App group and demanded his presence for dinner. Surprisingly, he agreed! We met at KLCC and later walked over to Ozeki Tokyo Cuisine at Menara TA One. Due to redevelopment works, they had moved inside. Over dinner, both of us exchanged super belated birthday gifts. Mine was 8 months overdue and his was about 4 months ago. He got me a pair of sports shorts from Private Structure. Perfect. Treated that fella to dinner. Shared a dinner set and a diamond roll. And they had a 15% discount for their 15th anniversary. EJ joined us later at Azzurro Cafe , The Pavilion ( can't believe I trudged so far after a heavy dinner ). Also been a while since I saw him. Seemed thinner than I remembered, but he insists that he had grown fatter. That coming from someone who gyms and skips dinner. Nicky05 was nice enough to treat us coffee! Yay.

Right as Rain

Image
Now and then, interesting ( and oft times random ) people connect with me on FB. Some of them are resourceful blog readers who somehow manage to track down my profile. Rainy is one of those people. Been chatting with him on FB Messenger for months before we finally met up for dinner. At first we checked out Taste Enclave, but he chose Fatboy's The Burger Bar in the end. Felt that was more non- halal perhaps. He ordered The Elvis which contained pork, bacon, peanut butter and bananas, all of which he liked. Unfortunately, he complained that the peanut butter overpowered the whole combination. Rainy had plenty of stories about his homophobic and holier-than-thou colleagues. And his many encounters from Grindr and Jack'd provided much juicy conversation. Easier when the other party has something to talk about. No need to worry about awkward lulls in the conversation. After dinner, we took the train home together, but he got off at a much earlier station than me. Some people

LRT Celebrities: Arena Aaron

Image
This cutie got on the train at the same time with me during morning rush hour at Bukit Jalil. Judging from his attire and wet hair, he had just finished his morning swim. A student at the sports academy perhaps since he had some sort of Majlis Sukan Negara tag tied to his knapsack. I can imagine him in tiny Arena swim trunks. :). Although the first pic hints that the has big balls ( bukak kaki besar-besar ), there are no subsequent shots that show his package peeking out from his shorts like the famous MRT shot. Peek-a-boo! Hello! Back to my phone!

The Tribe at Perth II: With the Gors

Went to church with SK on Sunday. Right after English mass, we loitered at One Utama. Did some quick shopping at Uniqlo and Isetan. Surprisingly, Brian popped over after SK summoned him. That meet up lasted less than one hour before we had to rush home ( secret mission for SK ). I spent some time at SK's place and had lunch there. She cooked seafood noodles that was brimming with fish fillet, fishballs, mushrooms and scallops. In the evening, I had a swim with Brian. Seems like ages since I had a swim buddy. Monday was a holiday for me, replacement for Agong's birthday. Early in the morning, had breakfast with SK at Hawker Street KL . That was our third choice after finding Woo Pin and House of Ceggo closed. Tried their premium CKT and seriously was quite impressed. Went on to Midvalley Megamall after that. Lifebook joined us for a short walk before stopping at Jamaica Blue for coffee. The three of us had a long talk there. Our lunch was at Hanamaru Udon , a sister res
