I went to work on New Year's Eve. Yes, work.
"William, I have not finished the screen design yet. I'll discuss it with you on Monday."
"Monday? Oh, ok."
My boss didn't consider that I might have had leave plans on that day. To tell the truth, I didn't. But that's besides the point. So, I got off work and went down to Sri Petaling to meet up SK and Jason Jr. Was kinda tired and dozed off in the car. Surprisingly, the traffic to Des' place in Mutiara Damansara was quite normal. Reached there some minutes past eight. The main gang was already there, digging into the food. As I walked into the door, got a Christmas prezzie from Alvin (a cute fox bookmark) and Jason Jr (my not so-secret Santa who drew cute-sy bunnies on his gift).
"William, what's SK's number?"

"Hi dear, Jason Jr. just called me, asking whether you have The Prestige DVD."

Fantastic spread. Adrien's Shepherd's Pie (yum!). Bunny's Poison Beef Stew (yum!). Angel Hair pasta. Roasted chicken. Scott & Damon's KFC. Cake. Wine. SK's Peach and Cherry Liquer. Fried Meehoon. Junkfood. Sparkling Juice. Soft drinks. Honeydew Melon. Des' Bud's Ice Cream (yum!). Dinner was accompanied by a drama of frolicking men at the poolside. Dante's Cove. Heh. Post-dinner entertainment was Mad Gab, Charades (Lex's Paris Hilton gagging on a dick) and Mafia (I don't get it). Met another Jason at the party. The Spice Girls have Mel C and Mel B, whereas we have one Jason C and two Jason L's. Our countdown followed the Sg Wang party on TV. No auld lang syne. No New Year's kisses. But we did have a surprise foam attack from out of nowhere. Called KH (I owe you a New Year's kiss!) and JM. Left with Apollo and SK. Reached home past one and was completely knocked out after showering.... There you have it. Welcome 2008.
