A Decade Apart

Today is the 10th anniversary of my father's passing. I miss him so, but I loathe to admit that the years has stolen some of my memories of him. His voice doesn't ring as clearly in my mind as before. His face is partly shrouded. Is his shade slipping away?

So many years.... Does he approve of who I have become today?

memories fade through time, all you need is an momento of his to remind you of your dad..i'm sure, all he wanted was for you to be happy.

i know the feeling. Its been 16 years since my mom's passing and there are days when i dnt remember how she looks like or sounded like. But then, there are days when i can smell her fav perfume and memories floods my mind. One best way to keep yr dad's memory alive is to talk to yr mom abt him. I did it with my dad one day n learned stuff abt my parents i never knew. All it takes is 1 question which is, "tell me abt dad/mom"

My prayers goes out to u dude.

10 years.

I dunno what to say, but based on our email communications, I think you've turned out alright -- should be every mother-in-law's dream son-in-law. :P So your dad should be proud. ;)
